Decided to walk from City Suite ChenAi to the Shoushan LOVE lookout which is about 2kms. Start the journey up about 700m left, very pleasant casual stroll up. Breathtaking amazing views all corner and surprise guest appearances by some monkeys also. Up here literally can see the whole Kaohsiung city and there port area as well as cijin and Shoushan till the ChonShan University. Everyone should come up at least once, and if u are adventurous and enough time, there r lots of trail to explore the mountain further.

The location is atop a tall hill which may require a vehicle to get to. As walking or riding a bicycle here is not advised. There is some decent parking there however. You must ascend more steps in order to truly appreciate the view, and it did not look handicap friendly. Once at the top of some of these peaks however you can see the entire city below you. We could see our cruise ship from this location as well. Fun.

It is a lovely view, BUT it is not suitable for the average tourist as it is dangerous to walk to/from. There is no pedestrian path, the paths off the main road that Google recommends are blocked off. There are sharp corners on the road and many people drive dangerously, so there is a chance of being hurt. On top of this, there are many packs of feral dogs who will bark at you and chase you as they are very aggressive. Until pedestrian access is improved, I will not be...
