Would have been better if there's a more open view just next to the junction, like I expected. Mediocre coffee, slightly above average chocolate Boston and a bit too sweet for my sweet teeth. Like an European furniture sample Warehouse squeezed down by the ceiling zigzaglight modernity. Very Vic twists of tropicality scattered around the space and disappointingly the spotlight is plastic, I mean the plants. What triggers me is the black mosaic ceramic floor in the front area that's kinda annihilating against the waffling pressure (ppl feel like the stuffing in-between the floor and ceiling) from above. This expression is rare in gallery cafeteria designs. Bold, but cool, and it highlights the cool frontal wooden display of tropical plants on greatly aged and colored wood plank with go tables lit by industrial black hang lamps emitting beautifully earthy lukewarmth. All this frontal design serves as the main attraction yet everything else goes against that theme. It's like you expect a thunderstorm afternoon silver lining forest walk in a tropical country with mysticism and chic yet, as long as you flip the page you see an awkwardly melanged post-industrialism and Bauhaus. It's IKEA cheap wrapped in forest lush. A pity in my opinion. Well, at least this is a major gallery that's why I'm being harsh. Service is ok. It's more like an underground spatial cafe under a college gallery. Good for a chat or two bf and aft some art tour. Good for working on your project on laptop if quietude and suffocating warehouse vibe serves your mood. Good for a meeting or shooting some interviews on the back, where a cool long table serves...
