This station can get crowded during the peak hours. And since the Brown line is elevated while the Red Line is underground, the transfer between both lines can take some time. For the Red Line, instead of the normal half height platform screen doors, full height are used instead for air conditioning in the station. You also might have to wait up till 10 minutes for train services to Xiangshan, since some stations would terminate at this station and not continue it's journey further to Taipei 101 and Xiangshan, which I have no idea what the reason for this is for. There is a bank beside and the office building right above its entrance. The pavement around the station is wide, well designed for pedestrians and bikers.
