I have to say this is objectively a decent place.||I would not necessarily stay again, because it has nothing special or note worthy but it is objectively OK.||||Location:||It is located in the centre of Yilan so has access to all the local stores, shops, and normal city services.||It is also just down the road within biking/driving distance to the hot spring area with the hotels, small pedestrian streets, etc.||||Amenities:||It is quite a big hotel, with many spacious rooms, a big lobby, some parking out front for cars and the usual wifi internet and good TV if needed.||They serve an okay buffet breakfast, and they have a shuttle service to the main attraction area of "Jiao Si" (in Taiwanese phonetics, or "Jiao Xi / 礁溪" in Mandarin Chinese) which I mentioned above.||The only negative comment I would have is about the general feel and decoration: this is definitely not a place that westerners would come to, it has a very Chinese-like style, with too much detail (sometimes tacky) and the wear and tare of the hotel has started to show in the rooms and decoration.
