Fantastic supermarket. Heaps of fresh and organic food. A little on the pricing side for locals accustomed to finding cheaper deals but would be normal for western tourists. Lots of specials for foreigners that you don't normally get in some supermarkets like a fantastic bakery section with lots of sour dough and other breads not normally found in Thailand. There is also a good selection of wine, but remember you can only buy during certain time frames (11am-2pm & 5pm onwards). Found some good Australian, Chilean, and French wines. All a lot more than you pay at home, but worth it when you want a nice glass of wine. The other positive is that the meat is all kept in refrigerated glass cabinets instead of put in the open like most supermarkets in Thailand...

This is a super supermarket. It was actually extraordinary to see how it caters to, apparently, a growing number of expats finding a home here. From kippers to humus to the various vegan items I went for, they have it all at quite shockingly high prices. To be honest, I didn't buy fruits there because my experience in Bangkok supermarkets has taught me to get the local stuff where locals shop, but the range of goods and the very beautiful displays were quite delightful. As I'm not cooking here, I can't speak for the veggies, but they look marvellous. All in all, it's a fab market for the (very) well-heeled. Can't knock it; supply and demand rules. ...
