The great thing about the night market in Chiang Mai is that it is not only a street market, but a mix of many other markets that you can easily walk between and wander into to find all sorts of shopping, food courts, live entertainment, massage places, artists, and specialty shops. If you're looking for a budget-friendly meal, I would recommend eating at a different location and then exploring the Night Bazaar without feeling obligated to order food there. Paying 150 baht for a beer may be considered unnecessarily expensive. Nevertheless, the Night Bazaar still provides a vibrant atmosphere and unique shopping experience...
