Wat Daowadung — Attraction in Chiang Mai Province

We discovered the place on the way and saw they do meditation retreat for a half/ full day and we came the morning after on Saturday. (open on Thursday, Saturday and Sunday 9am-4pm) we did the full day meditation and buddhism teaching with the monks. It was very interesting and quite, no tourists and very peaceful🙏 We learned about buddhism and the different ways of meditation and started practicing the different ways, it was hard as beginners but really good for the mind😌 We really recommend going and chatting with the monks, their wisdom and true wish to spread the teachings of the buddha of kindness and love is really something to...

It is a supper pretty temple, but what I liked most was the Monk Chat they organise. It is super interesting to know more about the Budish culture, philosophy and religion by the hand of a monk. I learn a lot and we finished with 2 Budish meditation. Moon, our Monk teacher and organizer, speack english very fluent, explain with good examples and respect your times so you can fully enjoy...

Nice temple. Beautiful of course but nothing special about it compared to many other temples in Chiang Mai. I still have a good 10 minutes there and I would still recommend you all to come and see this place even it, for me, never will reach a top 10 temple placement. I enjoyed it...
