From our initial excitement upon arriving at this place it was a slow steady downhill fall. We arrived and waited around for a quite a bit. This was to allow all the other tour groups to arrive. The facility itself looked nice and we got a free water. The other tour groups arrived and we were split into two groups based on language English/chinese. We started making food for the elephants to give them which was fun and interesting. This is where things start to turn though. We go to wash our hands and return to find our food gone. "Probably one of the Chinese" the tour guide told us. Great, so we go to make more but he says we have to go. We stand out ground and do it anyways. We get out to where the elephants are held and it's a mad dash to go feed them. We approach, assuming there's a line, but no. The other group sits in front of the elephants being constantly given food to jam into the elephants mouths. Our tour guide tells us "they're always like this, you have to push past them" so we do. Feeding the elephants on its own was a fun experience and being able to touch and interact with them was great, especially with the babies. Once we took our turns we sat back and watched in horror as the elephants would drop food to the ground only for the kids to be given more food to jam into their mouths. The only form of control from the staff was with the babies. Older elephants had food piling up on front of them as they clearly didn't want to eat anymore. Even saw a tear running down one of their cheeks. The "other group" was acting as if these were machines you get inserting dollars into to get a picture. They also have a single young capybara in cage. Not sure why or how they got it as they're native to South America and are social animals, requiring access to others. This one was in a cage being poked at with stocks and having rocks thrown at it by the kids of this other group while the parents either ignored it or were taking pictures.overall your mileage may vary but we left disgusted with this place clearly allowing over feeding and mistreatment of its animals while the staff stood by and accepted it. Read moreI visited an elephant sanctuary in Phuket and booked the trip through Klook. It was an incredible experience for my family and me, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. I highly recommend choosing the full package that includes meals and the elephant bath experience – it's truly worth it.
The staff members were not only very nice, but also incredibly friendly. Their hospitality added to the overall positive experience. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the toilet and bathroom facilities were exceptionally clean, which was a significant plus for me.
Throughout the day's activities, there were refreshing breaks where we were treated to delicious Thai salad and the opportunity to cook pad Thai. These thoughtful touches made the experience even more memorable.
Additionally, a wonderful perk was that they offered complimentary photography services, capturing precious moments for us throughout the day. The photos were conveniently uploaded to Dropbox for easy downloading. This thoughtful gesture added a special touch to our experience, allowing us to relive the memories we created during our visit.

Read moreOur family of four—two adults and two little ones (8 months and 2 years old)—had an unforgettable experience at Elephant Care Park Nai Dee in Phuket. From the moment we arrived, the staff ensured our visit was both engaging and comfortable for all ages.
We began by preparing food for the elephants, learning about their diets and habits. Feeding these gentle giants was a joy, especially seeing our toddlers' faces light up during the interaction. The highlight was the mud spa and bathing session; getting muddy and then rinsing off alongside the elephants in the pool was both fun and heartwarming.
The staff were exceptional—knowledgeable, patient, and attentive. They ensured we were safe and comfortable, and they captured numerous photos for us, preserving these precious memories. A special thanks to Mr. Taksun and Mr. Faisal for their outstanding assistance throughout our visit.
After our activities, we enjoyed a delicious Thai meal, including Pad Thai and Som Tam, which was a delightful way to conclude our day. The park's commitment to ethical elephant care and visitor education is commendable.
We wholeheartedly recommend Elephant Care Park Nai Dee to families seeking an ethical and immersive elephant experience in Phuket. It's a place where both adults and children can learn, have fun, and create...
