Previously had a really pleasant experience at the Rawai branch, I came here literally a couple of weeks after it opened. In my previous review of the Rawai branch I stated that vegan options need to be added as there is egg in most dishes I see that this has not happened on the new menu - disappointing. Also the coconut coffee has been removed for some reason also disappointing. Let’s get onto the food - so despite me liking the restaurant initially it has not been consistent. When we visited this branch I got the burger as I had tried it in Rawai and found it a little lack lustre in flavour however wanted to see if there was any improvement - there was not. No spice & fairly dry. My partner likes the fish tacos and this come with a really nice sauce that adds flavour to the burger (take notes) also the burger just falls apart so making it unpleasant to eat so you have to eat with a knife and fork - the utter sin was that my wedges were soggy now I’m not having any excuses for this they have been soggy twice when I ordered in Rawai and my mother in law had them but they were crispy?! I guess it’s luck of the draw with the wedges. Funnily enough when visiting this branch the owner was there so I’m surprised 2 weeks after opening he is still letting soggy wedges go out & since I expect quite high standards also as many of us in the reviews have seen him berate his staff in front of customers about quality I expected more - his approach doesn’t seem to be working anymore! Food looks nice but it’s style over substance. All of the vegan sausages/vegan taco/burger is the same mixture & I think there needs to be more thought and attention when it comes to spicing and flavouring the vegan options. The avocado houmous toast has so much topping it overloads the toast which makes it cold and soggy very quickly - maybe spread the mixture over 2 pieces? So overall I visited this restaurants various locations over 10 times but I won’t be returning because I’ve seen no improvement in fact quality had diminished. Also the Bang Tao area has some exceptional restaurants that are healthy and cater far better to vegans.
EDIT 2 owner: Firstly in regards to my previous glowing review of your other branch when I mentioned having more vegan options you agreed & said it was something you would work on. Being the passionate & successful business owner that you clearly are I thought you would be true to your word in improving your veggie & vegan options - I merely pointed this out. I never said you was a health food shop nor do I expect that from your restaurant. I just expect people to so what they say if they don’t I’ll call it out - this is what honest reviews are for.
Secondly you are clearly quite triggered by response & so incensed that you didn’t read my review regarding the chipotle sauce. I said if you were not going to make some improvements to the sausage/burger/taco mix then the sauce from the fish tacos would make a good accompaniment
Thirdly in relation to berating staff many other reviewers on your other branch have seen you very animatedly on the verge of screaming at your staff myself included, I mentioned on my original review it means you have high standards hence my disappointment & dissatisfaction of the inconsistency of the meals I’ve had. I clearly mention I’ve been to your restaurant many times namely because my husband did like the fish tacos & also I like to give honest reviews of where I’m eating not hateful troll comments that you are insinuating I am doing. I leave many five star reviews of the places I visit around the world & if they fall short that’s on the restaurant to take note. If any of your ‘friends’ restaurants have received poor reviews from me then that’s my truth, I’m sure many of your friends have had five star reviews from myself. I’m very pleased to know you have many friends in your chosen career & community due to your loveable character.

Read moreContemporary Mexican fusion restaurant with real tasty food, good service, delicious and affordable margaritas all day as well. They have lots of parking for motorbikes, and some for cars though the adjacent lots are often empty and you can park your car there.
FOOD They got Ceviche, though they make it Mexican style which is a disappointment. We could use. Peruvian style Ceviche on the island. Anyway they have tons of great options, like tacos, quesadillas, and burritos... With all the proteins and fillings you expect. The chicken Al pastor is delicious, as is anything that has fish since it's fresh and very well done. But they also have healthier options like bowls and even poke bowls for those who don't want all the carbs that Mexican food brings. I love their stew personally, and anything with fish ... so fresh. They also make a really good burger (Mexican burger is a must try)
They have decent Mexican rice and good mashed potatoes as another side option. But you should note that they also have tons of new menu items all the time, like they are daring each other in the kitchen to try and slap on some stuff together, like the cheeseburger on a tortilla which actually sounds delicious.
DRINKS They have a good B100 margarita for all day drinking which is very nice and affordable. Is it the best Margarita ever, probably not, but its good and gets the job done. They also have a decadent Ceviche michelada for those who like them.
SERVICE Really nice staff who are attentive.
SEATING Mostly indoor seating, with just a few two-tops outside. Good for groups or dates as well. The seats are very comfortable.
ATMOSPHERE The place is very modern and has kitschy artwork on the walls, typical Frida Kahlo irony, stuff like that. Neon lights spelling out catchy taco-inspired sayings. It's nice inside. Still, it's very echoey and, if there is a group at the time, expect to hear their entire...
Read moreThank you for all the delicious meals. I’ve tried a lot from your menu, and it all tasted great. Here are my critiques: In my opinion the atmosphere doesn’t suit the food. I feel like it wants to be attractive to young people, yet I’m young and felt annoyed by the loud music. I like deep house music, but not too loud. I always put my headphones in when I visited due to this reason, then have noise canceling. When it was quiet, the atmosphere became a 5/5 for me. I’m not saying you should not play music, but maybe keep and eye on it. Maybe you only have a few costumers, go ask them if they prefer it to be louder or less loud. If it is late at night and the restaurant gets more crowded, go for it and turn it up. Anyways. The staff was always friendly and kind. Thanks to the chefs in the kitchen for the food you provided for me. The last critique I have is; The mashed potatoes… they are good… but you could make it better maybe by adding some flour de sale or some more butter. It was a little bit blend. Thank you again :) the food in general was super delicious! I’m sorry I have to adjust my review. I’m sitting outside of the restaurant and now have been asked 3 times by the same guy for money. He doesn’t remember that I already gave him money. He looked at me very angry when I didn’t give him money again. I know this is not the fault of the restaurant. But they I recommend you keep an eye on that. It’s very disturbing and disrespectful. From now on only sitting inside. Outside is...
