Had a cut and color today. The haircut is by far the worst I have had in the last 15 years. The stylist pointed to a picture of a guy with hair slightly longer than the eyebrow. I asked for that style, but slightly less length. Pointed to the picture that I wanted the length to just be slightly higher than eyebrow. The stylist, Fah, ended up destroying my bangs. It was 3cm higher than the eyebrows... I didn't even know whether to laugh or cry at that point. My hair looked like a forest that had just been clear cut. I don't understand how any stylist think that looked good. The coloring was slightly visible, but nowhere near the color I wanted. But I was more upset about the hair cut. After that hair cut, nobody can fix up the hair because it's way too short now. I'm stuck being embarrassed with this hair for the next month. Another thing was the shop gave a different price. They listed their hair cut price as 900 baht, and color price as 1000 baht on their website. They also listed that cut and color done at the same time would be 1500 baht. They charged me 2000 baht. So really, the shop is just super unprofessional any way you look at it. I have to point out that the stylist and receptionist were extremely nice, and the salon also smelled good. But that's all the positive things I can say about this salon. I paid 2000 baht but ended up looking ugly and bald. Totally unacceptable. I feel extremely sad and unconfident looking at the mirror every time. Although I'm on vacation, I just want to hide in the hotel and not go out. I feel really embarrassed and humiliated while out in the public. It's hard to understand how this shop has such a high rating on Google Maps. Perhaps they did a better job with other customers? Who knows. I trusted this salon to do a great job, but that was a huge mistake. I will never visit this...
Read moreThe staff is very pleasant. The place is clean. However, I was freezing there. The AC is unpleasantly strong (and i just came from cold Europe)
Unfortunately, I have to say... for salon that is charging quite a lot for hair service I would expect more.
From professional I expect opinion and suggestions for hair type, face shape... Simply to make you beautiful. That didn't happen. They don't speak english so it's pretty hard to discuss everything. We've tried with the help of app translation and pictures I've showed. I had showed everything, hair length, style... I came prepared. However I was hoping for advices from the stylist. That wasn't really the case.
Even as I showed everything... My hair are 5cm shorter as I wanted, due to the fact that lady didn't count with jump that the hair do when they dry.
I don't know how it is with thai hair, but my hair for sure jumps up. I'm use to the professionals count with that. They simply don't really know how to handle little wavy and frizzy hair European hair.
And the trouble is that you can't warn the hairdresser (however I expect that professional doesn't need to be warned) because she doesn't speak english (I tried). Anyway ... If you don't speak thai... This is not a salon for you. Now, I will have to wait my hair to grow back, till I can have my hairstyle I wanted 🤷 However I can't judge the quality of cut yet as I wasn't trying to hairstyle my hair yet (the cut was done yesterday). Maybe it's good cut, just for different hairstyle...
Read moreI really liked this hair salon. I went there to dye my hair and ask about getting a perm (I wasn’t sure which one I should get or if I could even do it due to my hair damage).
The service was really nice. One woman greeted me at the beginning—she was very kind and helped me choose a hair color. I wanted a dark brown, so she showed me some options, and I chose one. In the end, it turned out to be really dark, almost black rather than dark brown. I still liked it, but it wasn’t exactly what I had in mind. However, it was still very beautiful, so I wasn’t too upset about it.
Additionally, they offered me a hair treatment, which I really liked. Another employee, a young woman, was very kind and did the treatment for me. She also washed my hair, which was really nice because I even got a bit of a head massage.
As we finished, I also asked about getting a perm and whether they would recommend it. They told me that my hair quality wasn’t good enough and that they wouldn’t recommend it. I really appreciated their honesty because it showed that they care not just about making money but also about their customers and the quality of their work.
Overall, I’m really happy with my experience. My visit was last week, so I waited a bit to see how my hair would be after washing it at home, and I still like it.
As for the prices: I think they are a little high for Bangkok, but compared to my home country, they are quite reasonable and not too expensive.
I would definitely recommend...
