This was our 2nd visit (after 6 years) and I must say that while the property is clearly a lot more run down , the quality of the staff continues to be great. Minnie the manager is truly exceptional and ensured she the team responded with exceptional service every time. Here are a few suggestions to make the property more livable and senior/Child friendly All the staircases need bannisters or else there is an accident waiting to happen. 2.The peripehery of the pool needs to have anti skid material. We had a few slips and falls so do be very very careful while walking or getting out of the pool. There is an urgent need for waterproofing many areas. We exerienced a few leaks which can be easily avoided with regular maintainence. In my view the Gym should really be on the bottom floor instead of 3 bedrooms which are hard work to access. Getting dropped off using Grab Taxis can be a challenge since many drivers are not skilled enough to navigate the 45degree climb. The villa should have some sort of back up to pick up guests who are left stranded at the bottom. Otherwise like I said we had a good experience service and food wise and would recommend the villa for a group of 8 folks wanting a relaxed holiday without a 2...
Read moreWe were a group of 7 friends who stayed at Villa Zamani for 3 days. The highlight of our stay was the amazing and knowledgeable villa team, who prepared delicious breakfasts and meals for us. Their restaurant recommendations around Phuket were also excellent, and their planning was truly immaculate.
While Grab is convenient, having a full-time van with us made the trip far more enjoyable. The villa itself sits on a hill, offering spectacular views of the city and sea from the pool. Despite the hillside location, accessibility was never an issue—Grab taxis and food deliveries reached us easily. If you feel like a walk, Mr. Ae can drop you downhill, but honestly, you may not want to leave the villa at all.
The amenities are wonderful: a fully equipped gym, speakers that connect via phone for the pool and living area, and a theatre room where we enjoyed streaming a cricket match. Out of the 8 rooms, 5 are especially spacious with excellent views. The remaining 3 rooms on the lowest level are a bit small compared to the other rooms.
All in all, Villa Zamani is a fantastic choice for families, groups of friends, or gatherings. A big thank you to Mini, Oliver, Ae, and the entire team for making our trip...
Read moreAfter a slightly harrowing ride on the roads into the complex we arrived and were greeted by Tiu with a tray of refreshments. This was an indication of the attention to detail that the staff provided to our group. Baan Chang is beautiful, very clean and well appointed. We stayed in for dinner one night, and decided to go out the following night, the food at Baan Chang is so good that we were there for every meal after that. The team catered to two vegans, one person with severe gluten allergies and three people that did not eat beef or pork. The meals were amazing. The beach is beautiful you are right at the end of the beach so you have privacy. There are kayaks and a little catamaran to use. The pool and view is stunning. Be aware that just to the right further down the beach is a large pier with boats coming and going all day but don't be put off, you are barely aware it is there. Our group was very pleased with the facilities and every bedroom to beautifully appointed. Great for families as it is very safe, great for ...
