Decathlon Phuket — Attraction in Wichit

The huge range under one roof is unmatched – from running shoes and yoga mats to camping gear and kids' kits. Prices are consistently reasonable, offering great value. The family-friendly layout makes grabbing essentials easy. Staff are generally helpful and patient. The "try before you buy" zones are a practical plus.

It's not perfect. Some entry-level items (especially clothing) feel basic and may lack durability for intense use. Sizing can be inconsistent, particularly with European brands; trying things on is essential. While improving, stock levels for specific sizes or niche items can sometimes be hit-or-miss.

Despite minor gripes, Decathlon's core strengths shine: unbeatable value for money, incredible variety covering most casual sports needs, and genuine convenience. For expat families or anyone needing reliable, affordable gear without hunting across town, it's consistently the most practical solution. Perfect for getting started or replacing everyday essentials.

Great gear for every activity...! Even surfboards, foldable kayaks, full face snorkeling masks, wet suits, rollerblades, skateboards, all camping running workout gear. Every sport, bought American football/ rugby flag belts there. Most impressive though is a complete bike shop in the store, better than some serious bike shops in Phuket. Bikes up to 30,000- 40,000 baht, road or trail, even a 27.5 mountain with Rockshocks, gear sets, shifters, cables, high quality low price locks, lights, even a bikeshop tripod workstand and tools! Tubes and tires 14" to (unbelievably) 29 "! Most bike shops dont even carry 27.5 or 29 tubes. The 26 and 27.5 come in standard or Presta valve... Always something on sale, places to try out the equipment in-store, eco-friendly bring your own bag no plastic checkout, or buy a canvas one at counter. A place to go just for fun even if you aren't buying! People rollerblading, skateboarding, playing table tennis, trying out badmitton rackets, kicking footballs. Friendly...

This place is for members only, but that's very easy. You just need to have a email address available when you come to pay. Unfortunately it's no information about this before the entrance. Except from that, I have only positive thing to say about this company. High quality products and reasonable price. Size tag like in Europe. Here you can walk around and look at everything you like, and staff don't follow you like a shadow all the time. If you need to know more about customers right, ask Hathaipat (leader). She is understanding and helpful. After she explained more about this, I really like to come back here again! Thank you!

I have used them for 2 months now, and washed the clothes a lot, and still its not a loose thread to see. And they are very practical for everyone, not only for sport. Very good for craftsmen also....
