Excellent service, good food, great vibe. Only feedback is that the music from the neighboring restaurants clashed with the music from this one, which made for a pretty annoying experience. Otherwise, we had lots of fun. Beautiful, old trees surround the location. Food was good but we cannot compare it to that of Izmir (where we’re from), though likely the best we’ve had in Kaş. Fish was beautifully cooked and they were happy to accommodate our requests. Bathrooms were very clean too.
Extra special thanks to the wonderful staff. We called in super last minute for a reservation, and despite usually not taking reservations, the manager was happy to secure us a good table because it was a special occasion for us (anniversary). They even came to ask us if we wanted to be served anything complimentary for the occasion, we said there was no need but they still served us a very loaded fruit platter on the house.
Another special thanks to our amazinggg waiter Mr. Mehmet, who went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable, and always seemed to be available to help us when needed with a smile on his face. Thank you so much for the excellent service Mr. Mehmet! Çok...
Read moreSimply one of my two favorite places to eat in Kaş. I came here twice for dinner and once just for a glass of wine, and every single visit was a delight. Everything about this place is just so good!
The location is perfect you can dine upstairs and watch the sunset while enjoying their fabulous dishes. Truly a memorable setting.
I tried the rakı, red wine, and white wine, and all were excellent. Great selection and quality.
As for the food: • The mushrooms with cheese starter had the perfect balance of flavors rich, comforting, and beautifully cooked. • The grilled octopus (usually served as a starter) was so delicious I had it as a main course. Honestly, some of the best octopus I’ve ever had. Turkish octopus is world-class second only to what I’ve had in Yucatán, Mexico. And as you know, octopus is tricky to cook well, but they’ve mastered it here. • On my second visit, I tried the lamb chops, one of my favorite dishes, and they did not disappoint. So flavorful and well-seasoned! Just a heads-up: the portion is generous, so maybe go for it when you’re really hungry.
Ali’s service was excellent!
All in all, an incredible experience at Ehl-i Keyf. Highly...
Read moreOverrated and with inflated prices, you'd be better off going right across the road. Awful service - the waiter did not speak English and was not able or willing to find anyone who did (and in a tourist place like that, it is reasonable to expect to be able to order in English, in my opinion). He rushed through our order and, as a result, took it all wrong. Before we even confirmed our order, he just walked away, while we were still speaking to him. We called the manager to check the order, and it turned out to include items we didn't even mention. He changed the order, but there was not an apology or anything of the kind. Then he gave us a condescending lecture about appetisers and main dishes. Frankly, we should have walked away right there and then because the mood for the meal had already been spoilt. Definitely not recommended. The food might be ok, although it is still overpriced, but the service is...
