We stayed 5 nights at this hotel. Upon arrival, the lobby was very nice, but our first room did not match the photos and the shower was broken. The sea view was beautiful, but considering the price we paid (approx. 330 AUD per night), the room was not worth it. After complaining, we were moved to a room identical to the photos, much larger and exactly what we were looking for. However, the shower in this replacement room was also broken, which was very inconvenient. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety and high quality. The sea view from the room was stunning. The downside: at night, you can hear everything from the corner, as if there is a bar playing loud music; the windows don’t fully block the noise. For two nights, I could barely sleep before 1 a.m., which affected the experience. At the beach, although the nice sunbeds should be available to guests, the staff marks them as “reserved” to give them to external visitors. Every time I complained, the staff would roll their eyes, but eventually give me a bed. It shouldn’t be necessary to fight every day, as paying guests should have priority over outsiders, which was frustrating. The gym is basic and some facilities were damaged. Food and cocktails in the restaurant are also expensive, so it was often better to go out. Positive: The reception staff were very kind and helpful, always willing to assist. Overall, it was a mixed experience: the room was good after the change (though the shower was broken), breakfast and views were excellent, but noise, beach issues, some facilities, beach staff behavior, and high prices make me not fully recommend it. If you pay a bit more, there are better options that truly match the price.(wi-fi BAD )

DIRTY, DIRTY, DIRTY! Very poor cleaning service! Do not stay here! Upon arrival, we were placed in a Garden Suite, which was not cleaned (dirty toilet, hair in the bathroom, shower not clean, dirt in the fridge, leftover food on the floors and tables). I let the front desk attendant know, who came back to the room with me and agreed that we needed to change rooms (BTW, he did not apologize and showed little interest in the issue). He showed me another room, which was also not cleaned...He said that was the only room they had and we should stay in that one because it seemed "less dirty". I was told someone will come and clean the room. A gentleman did come, and cleaned the dirty toilet. When I pointed out leftover food on the table, from the previous guest, he took the same cloth he used to clean the toilet with and wiped the food off the table unto the floor and smiled that it was done! Oh, boy...at that moment I knew I had to clean the room myself. I spent the next 50 minutes cleaning the room and the dirt I discovered everywhere was extraordinary! I found another cleaning attendant (a lady this time) and asked for supplies. The only positive thing was the kind gentleman, Mehmet at the bar during our stay...The front desk attendants do not smile, they give you very little information upon arrival and truthfully, they both looked like they didn't want to be there...thank goodness we booked only one night! This was by far the DIRTIEST HOTEL ROOM we ever stayed at (and we travel a lot!)! The picture shows the dirt I collected just from the bathroom...

The hotel would be better represented if it was called “La Antique”. The hotel has not been refurbished or seen a lick of paint since it opened. Pro’s: The location is good, and a quick walk to main restaurants and shops. The old town is a short taxi drive away. The beach club is lovely, but previous reviews are also accurate - it’s very expensive (€12 a beer) and hotel guests do not get any preference concerning beds. Overall, the staff are very friendly and attentive. Con’s: The hotel is not 4-stars. It’s old and run down. In this regard, it’s overpriced for what it is. Not one fixed item in our original room was “fixed”. The towel rack and toilet holder fell off the mounts. The shower was filthy and full of mould. The passage way and our room smelled of mould and cigarette smoke. We had a cigarette burn in our bedding, evidence of people smoking in the room. There is rising damp in the walls. The gym is not great - the equipment is very old, but usable. The space is not the cleanest either. In fairness, we were moved to a better room, but without the sea view we paid for. And although we were comp’d one lunch and soft drinks, the overall experience left a bitter taste. I do not recommend staying at La Boutique, you will get better value and a cleaner, modern stay elsewhere.

3 stays already - great place !

We first arrived at La Boutique hotel after having reserved a hotel that was not what we expected. Even though it was past 11pm, the Guest relations person allowed us to visit one room and booked us for the next day, with a possibility of early check-in. Breakfast was provided free of charge even though we should not have been there so early. Also, I had a credit card issue and the Hotel Manager Berna was extremely professional and kind about it. It was resolved after some enquiries of course, but I will always remember her friendly attitude in what was an embarrassing situation. The reception team works 24 hours/day and answers queries themselves when necessary, if the department in question is not available. They are working hard at satisfying guests and are very professional. Rooms are being renovated so some are more modern than others. Reception is kind in showing different rooms which I really think is top service. We were granted an upgrade to a sea view room during our latest stay, what a treat ! The restaurant team is friendly, kind and professional too. Mehmet and Canan were great, so was Süleyman at the beach bar, and the lady cooking breakfast, Ayse is a charm. Just to name a few, as the whole team is friendly and welcoming. I was working remotely and the location to the city centre is very good. There is a taxi stop in front of the hotel and a bus stop nearby. It was very hot during July and August and the airco in the room kept functioning well, when we heard that airco was giving up in a lot of places. On top of this, there is a private beach deck (lots of stairs) providing towels, food/drinks and music with also a super friendly service. Real people, who try their best in temperature over 35 degrees so their guests have a good time. This crew deserves tips, in every department, for going above and beyond, so don't forget to show your appreciation !
