Hi, I would like to share my experience with carefur customer service and I hope this will reach to higher level. I visited the store to buy electronic item and it was a busy as usual. Only one cashier at Electronic section and as per the Manager they had a shortage. Only one counter and more than 15 people in the queue and since I have some physical issue with UAE issued POD ( people of determination) card. It was very difficult for me to stand in that long queue, I approached to area manager and I explained my self and showed him my POD card in order to get some help but to my surprise he asked me to wait aside and he asked one of his employee to wait in the queue on my behalf and he told me to approach Cashier when it will be my turn. I told him there is no different if I wait aside or in the queue because in both case I had to stand and he replied that’s all I can do ☺️. Basically he have done nothing ( he could offer me a chair to sit)
I approached customer service to provide my feedback about the incident and customer service agent called the store manager ( not to mention the name) and he came after 10 minutes. While he was walking he was busy with his phone and and he stopped twice till he reached customer service. And when I started explaining to him the situation he was aware and he replied almost same as the electronic section Mamager.
⭐️You have the signboard and dedicated counter for POD , then why you don’t follow what you showing to the public?⭐️
I am posting this in order my message to reach to higher management in @Majid AlFuttaim so they can brief their staff how to treat the customers specially those customers with special needs.
Business is not only making money, also to have happy and satisfied customers.
Received the verbal apology from the store customer service after the week of incident but they were not willing to send the apology via email even they had my email address. Not sure what was the reason for them to not communicate via email. This is also negative point in regards to...
Read moreCarrefour in Ibn Battuta Mall is an excellent store with a vast selection of products. Whether it’s groceries, household items, or electronics, everything is available in one place. The staff is also very cooperative and helpful, making the shopping experience pleasant.
As an interior design company, we regularly purchase electronic devices from Carrefour. The quality of products and pricing are competitive, and the variety ensures we always find what we need. However, there is one major issue that makes shopping frustrating—the outdated billing system.
In 2025, it is surprising to see that Carrefour is still using old-model devices for billing. These devices struggle to connect to the network, causing unnecessary delays. The situation is almost like the early 2000s when mobile towers were weak, and people had to lift their phones to get a signal. Similarly, Carrefour’s staff is often seen raising their devices, waiting for a signal to process payments. This significantly slows down the checkout process, making every transaction unnecessarily long and frustrating.
Despite their best efforts, even the most efficient employees cannot speed up billing due to these outdated systems. For example, Mr. Nagaish from the appliances section and Mr. Rica from the TV section are excellent staff members—always helpful and professional—but they often find themselves embarrassed when customers complain about the slow billing process.
To improve the shopping experience, Carrefour management must upgrade their billing systems and provide staff with the latest technology-supported devices. This will not only enhance efficiency but also ensure that customers do not have to waste time waiting unnecessarily.
Attached is a picture as a reference, highlighting the issue. We hope Carrefour takes this feedback seriously and implements the necessary changes to maintain its reputation as a top-tier...
Read moreThis market is truly one of the great shopping places in the city, although I would say it leans a little on the expensive side. From the moment you arrive, the experience is quite smooth, especially with the parking facilities. The parking entrance is very convenient and easy to access, which makes visiting the market a lot more comfortable compared to some other crowded places.
Once you step inside, you immediately notice the wide variety of products available. It feels like almost everything you can think of is under one roof. The shelves are full of international products, and the quality of the goods is really impressive. From food items to daily essentials and unique imported goods, the market delivers on quality. You can truly see that the products are carefully selected and well-maintained.
One important thing to note is that this market is particularly popular among European customers. The majority of visitors you will see inside are European, and the range of products seems to be curated with their preferences in mind. This gives the market a very international atmosphere, almost as if you are shopping in a European city.
However, while the quality is excellent, the prices are definitely on the higher side. For Asian shoppers, or for people who are more budget-conscious, this market may not be the best option because of the cost. It’s not really the place for everyday economical shopping. That being said, if you are looking for premium quality products, imported goods, or simply want to enjoy a European-style shopping experience, then this is definitely the right spot.
Overall, it’s a very clean, organized, and high-quality market. I would highly recommend it to those who value quality over price and want a more European...
