Mercato Beach / Jumeirah 1 Beach — Attraction in Dubai

One of the calmest beaches of Dubai. The jogging track is an added attraction besides the clean sea shores . This has always been a place to meditate and spend time in solitude. Particularly, the moon meditation on full moon days. Disappointingly, the recently opened Mandarin Oriental Hotel is almost jutting into the sea with its teeming tourists and the noisy customers. The hustle and bustle of this hotel actually robs away the serenity of the sea. However, it would certainly be an added luxury to the most spectacularly opulent hotel. I have been in to the hotel itself, but to one of the cafes in the hotel. Service it great, so clean and polished, I love the location. The price is expensive, although it is the average in the city so no complaints. They have parking, and in the close by area you can find free parking. And they have wheelchair access. All in all, it is a great place, but for this price, you would expect more if you are coming from the EU, they do not pay as much attention to the small details as much as the EU hotels, but in comparison to what I saw in the city, they...

This piece of the Dubai coastline is quite, away from most of the external distrubances. It's a bit further from the lamer beach. Coast guards/patrols are there till 6pm.

This place is for those who like to spend some time in a quite / calm place as there's not much piece of untouched coastline left which is very next/close/walkable distance from a bus stop/pubic transport. With taxis you can dropped next.to the beach. Note :) there's no public washroom out here. One may find one at lamer...
