Have made a booking from the beginning of the month for my daughter’s birthday and paid the full amount and everything I was informed upon reservation was the complete opposite of what happened. Upon arrival they have informed me that there is no reservation, they gave me a number of a lady and asked me to provide receipt when I sent it the reservation magically appeared. Upon arriving to the venue the place was not cleaned it had art pieces from previous events .They informed us that there is a very big amount of tables we can have reaching to 20’s once we came they only gave us 10. My husband and the catering services had to take multiple trips in the heat from the parking to the gate when they informed us that there is a closer gate we can take but at the time of the party they told us that it’s not allowed. I have informed them that I will be paying for my guests after the party but in fact have made each and every guest I had pay at the entrance. I have spoken to the lady they gave me her number to ask for a car to bring the elders from the gate as they can not walk and rudely said “I’m currently at home why are u calling me since morning can’t you see I’m not answering”. Have been informed that there will be no crowd and we will have privacy where I specifically said that this will be a women’s only event, however we had strangers budge in the party , ppl taking balloons from inside, mother’s informing their children to go inside and collect candy and decor. Great miscommunication...

Nestled within a sprawling park, Children's City in Dubai is a vibrant hub designed to captivate and educate young minds. With a nominal entry fee of 5 AED, this attraction opens its doors to a world of discovery and entertainment for children.

This colorful haven stands alongside the Dubai Dolphinarium and bird show camp, enhancing its appeal by offering diverse experiences within the same compound. Although I didn't explore the Dolphinarium directly, the vicinity adds value by providing visitors the chance to witness thrilling dolphin shows and engaging bird displays.

One noteworthy aspect is the opportunity to participate in engaging activities within Children's City itself. The interactive exhibits and educational programs cater to various age groups, making learning both enjoyable and enriching. Additionally, the occasional chance to win free tickets to the bird show through contests like kids' dances and social media activities adds an exciting layer to the visit.

While parking is located outside the compound, the spacious area within Children's City allows children to roam freely, fostering a sense of exploration and discovery. Overall, Children's City stands as a remarkable destination, blending entertainment, education, and interactive experiences, creating a fantastic outing for families seeking both fun and learning opportunities for...

An amazingly educative and fun place.

The walk from the parking to the venue can be “hot” during the summer.

We enjoyed it however, a few issues which we found a bit… out of order:

You need to pay entry ticket (5aed / person) when you enter the park. There is no way to get there without entering the park. While you buy the entry tickets into the park, you are also forced to buy a NOL card (AED 10) in order for you to be able to pass the gate…. It all sounds a bit useless and complicated for no reason.

The staff at the ticket counter (not in the park but in the actually “children city”) was pretty slow. While they were two (a lady and a gentleman) only one was selling tickets and that one was engage in customer service while the other one was observing the customer service. What’s the point of having two if they can’t compensate each other ?!

Loads of the activities are actually broken and not working. The “under Maintanance” sign is omnipresent while some, don’t work properly or at all, without the “under Maintanance” sign.

All in all, it was a nice afternoon in a very educative way for the kids. Too bad they have no eating options. We would have stayed to eat.

Total cost:

park entry for 3 - 15 AED nol card to operate the park gate - 10 AED entry into the children city for 3 - 40 AED (family pack which can have 2 kids...

A place to stimulate learning for kids and adults alike with interactive presentations and activities. At first we thought it was a museum but then we realized it was a place for learning about everyday subjects and science. They have a play area for smaller kids and a library too. The key sections inside the learning spaces included some subjects about Middle East trade, desert survival, transportation, animals, cultures around the world, the human body and more. We totally underestimated the time we needed to spend there, if every section was to be observed and interacted with we needed about 3 to 4 hours or more. We visited after our time at the Dolphinarium next door so we realized we should have come here earlier. There are daily activities and a show at the mini planetarium, and some science shows like documentaries. There are fewer English program therefore it’s essential to check the schedule before visiting so that you can join at the right time. There’s a vending machine inside but not much options for food and drinks. A nice place to spend some time with kids. Adults might find it a little more boring if they aren’t getting involved in the learning.
