We stayed multiple times and I liked the stay every single time. The rooms are mildly above average in terms of size and equipment - but the service is fast and polite. The check in can get busy, but I cannot complain - the time was still within the acceptable range and the receptionist was extremely helpful. The garden and swimming pools are definitely a major plus of this hotel - there are multiple options for kids - thus not too many kids in the adults area which I appreciated. The garden is huge and relaxing with birds and calming feeling to it. Another major plus are the restaurants in the hotel. They are among the best ratio of price/quality I have as of now seen in Dubai. The breakfast and dinner buffets are great - huge variety and as mentioned, decent price. The Panini restaurant has a great bakery and price-wise is the cheap option to eat in the hotel, but in terms of quality I think it is a delicious bistro comparable with higher end cafes and bistros in Marina or JBR, but for about 60% of the price. The Andiamo is a really good Italian restaurant - price is mid-range, but quality is high standard. And the serve real prosciutto!!!! The Pool Bar is a decent specimen of its kind. Ask for offers on food and drinks combos. I have not tried the other restaurants in the hotel yet, but I definitely will - in the hope that what I described re price/quality is true for them too. Read moreI recently had the opportunity to stay at your hotel in GRAND HYATT RESIDENCE, and I wanted to share my feedback regarding the service.
While there were aspects of my stay that I appreciated, I must express my dissatisfaction with a particular incident that significantly impacted my experience. I encountered a situation where the staff named ABOU (THE DUTY MANAGER "he said" )appeared to be more focused on upselling additional bookings for extra guests rather than addressing my immediate concerns and needs.
This approach left me feeling undervalued as a guest, and it negatively influenced my perception of the overall service quality. As a customer, my primary expectation is to receive attentive and personalized service, and unfortunately, this was not the case during my recent stay which is week before this incedent happened.
Also appeared that the hotel staff named ABOU did not consider the presence of children outside the hotel premises which is very cold that night. It is essential to create a safe and comfortable environment for all guests, including families with children.
I believe it is crucial for the hotel staff to prioritize the needs and comfort of the existing guests before attempting to secure additional bookings. This experience has left me hesitant about considering future stays at your hotel.
I hope you take this feedback constructively, as I believe addressing such issues will contribute to an enhanced experience for all guests in the future. I appreciate your attention to this matter and hope to see improvements in your service standards.

Our stay at Grand Hyatt Dubai Residence was deeply disappointing. Despite its high price point and reputation, the experience did not meet even basic expectations. The furniture was outdated and lacked any sense of renewal or luxury. The decor felt old and worn, with no signs of recent upgrades.
More alarmingly, we found ladybugs inside the beds, indicating poor cleanliness and a lack of proper pest control. The bed linens were old, uncomfortable, and clearly past their prime. For a residence under the Grand Hyatt name, this level of maintenance and hygiene is simply unacceptable.
We were a group of eight people, and none of us were satisfied with the stay. We had paid a considerable amount for what we expected to be a premium experience, but our expectations were completely let down. We left the hotel with disappointment and frustration—and no compensation or apology was offered to address the situation.
In terms of service and amenities, this property does not deserve its current rating. Based on what we experienced, it should be classified as a three-star hotel at best.
We do not recommend this residence and hope the management seriously reconsiders...
