This is a mostly business/conference hotel, look and feel very new. Everywhere from lobby to stepping up floor sitting lounge are glamorous and super comfortable. Dining lounges on the same floor are well laid out and functional.
The Spa facilities in this hotel is definitely a high light. With wall to floor white marbles in a long corridor, it instantly gives me a serene feeling, very calming. Everywhere is meticulously clean. After using sauna and steam room, there are lounge chairs for you to lay down to relax, and they are very comfortable. I am amazed that every time after I use the toilet either in the pool changing room or in the spa changing room, no matter how short time I return, the toilet papers are perfectly folded in triangle on the tip again. It’s like in those nice restaurants the waiter/waitress who do not stare at the customers, they seem to disappeared when they are not in need, but as soon as your need arise, they are right there for you.
32rd floor Regency Club lounge is very nice and quiet, it serves beverage, fruits, and sweets from noon to late night. The attendant always greeted us quickly and warmly. However the fruits were not good, it seems they had been in the jar for a very long time. On the first two days I saw and showed two rotten oranges to the lounge attendant and she said, that’s because some customers squeezed the fruits, therefor the orange became rotten. Hmmm…… if it were true, then how can people also make the oranges so dry inside🤔?And how come the apples are so soft & mushy inside🤔? However by the fourth day, the fruits became very fresh and good tasting with varieties. I am glad there were improvements made. She accommodated our special request for some salt (to rinse the mild aching tooth) and limes (for my husband’s gout issue). She was good with the salt request. For the lime request, she remembered and brought it for us the next day, but the following day she said kitchen only has lemons and no limes. Then we went to breakfast the next morning and Satish quickly got us limes and freshly squeezed its juice for us, and got the problem fixed.
Our suite on the Regency floor is well layout, has city views in bedroom, living room, even in the bathroom. The lighting are soft yet bright, especially the light switches are modern yet very easy to use, unlike many hotels you really need to spending time figuring out which one goes to where. The high quality fresh flowers lasted for the whole week we stayed. The constructive common I can give about the room is the clear glass coffee table in the living room, it can be a tripping-over hazard due to its clear surface. We just put an oversized tower over it, so it is easier to see to avoid hitting it with my legs. Everyone we encountered are very courteous, with smiles and greetings and offer help through our stay.
A few other people we had encountered deserve special thanks:
2)House keeping team, Aijun and others who cleans our room do a fantastic work!! The housekeeping manager Arun was very responsible, he greeted us at our arrival and inquired about our stay at our departure.
3)Umesha, a very young woman with such a sweet and innocent smile in the spa, is always eager to help, with the attitude she has, and her natural personality, and her sharp memory (she remembers my room number better than myself!!) I hope she is on her way to a great success in the hotel.
Our last joyful surprise came on the day we were leaving, at breakfast, Satish, Joy & Zaharia came to our table holding a “Thank you for staying with us” cake! What a heart warming farewell gesture! Looking at these young, energetic and dedicated hotel employees, it made us want to come back soon!! Many...
Read moreI normally stay at The Conrad Dubai but decided to mix things up for this trip. I am delighted with my decision. There is so much to recommend about this hotel….happy to share my experience.
I arrived exhausted after midnight and was met with an incredibly heartfelt and gracious welcome from the front office manager (Avish Sawant). I saw him throughout my stay and was met every time with him acknowledging me by name and smiling warmly. I was so impressed by him. He set the standard for how I found all the staff to be throughout my stay: super-friendly, personable, gregarious, confident, professional. He worked out a snafu with the back-to-back reservations I had made which saved me from changing rooms. This initiative was greatly appreciated.
The room was very solid. The bed was extremely comfortable. Some have said the property is a little tired which I would tend to agree with in terms of the carpets and drapes…everything else was in good condition though…hard to find anything that was broken or unsightly. I think maybe it is the design that has not aged well…the color palette is a cold collection of gray, lemon, and beige. Not going to spark a lot of joy with many folks.
Sleep quality in the bedroom part of my suite was excellent. This is an unusual win for me. No loud outside disturbances from traffic or construction etc. Zero bleeding of noise from the surrounding rooms or hallway. The AC in the bedroom was perfect…not in the adjoining living area though. This was uncomfortably warm. The engineering folks came by to fix it but that had no impact. I found Housekeeping services to be top-notch. They work in pairs and are very efficient. Many thanks to this team for doing such a remarkable job.
Regency Club access is included when you book a suite. The Club itself on the top floor is nice but not used for breakfast or cocktails. Instead, these are taken in the ground floor restaurant. I thought this was strange initially but grew to appreciate and like this arrangement. The spread in the evening is incredible. Essentially a full buffet with some very tasty hot dishes. This is SO much better than the Conrad. Loved that they allow you to serve your own drinks. The whole experience really enriched my stay.
Breakfast is okay but the quality seemed a little off to me. Feels like things were a little cheap (the shiny/rubbery slabs of cheese are a good illustration of what I am saying). Getting a hot drink was a little bit of a chore. You wait in a mass of people. Felt like I was trying to get someone to serve me in a crowded bar.
The pool area appeared small to me. It was packed even when the hotel was low occupancy. There was no water station here. They won’t serve you free water…you can only buy it behind the bar. This is Dubai where dehydration is a real risk. I struggled to find any water stations anywhere outside of the gym. I think they should add some in key places so we can refill our water bottles.
The gym is spacious, light and full of options. Be sure to check out both sides. The locker rooms include a steam room and sauna. These are wonderful and complimentary for hotel guests.
Aside from Avish I would also recognize the chefs in the Sufra restaurant (notably Luis A.). These gentlemen were so engaging and outgoing. They came out to chat with guests and ask if there was anything special they would like. I grew to be very fond of Luis A. and missed him when he took his day off. He is a credit to this hotel.
All in all this was a really great stay. I would absolutely return here and recommend...

We recently stayed at the Hyatt Regency Dubai Creek Heights. While the hotel has spacious rooms and well-maintained areas, we encountered serious service issues that made our experience disappointing.
Incident at the Pool At the pool, we politely requested that the music be briefly muted during the athan, as we had observed this respectful practice in other public areas of Dubai. While we understand there is no specific rule to mandate this, we felt it was a reasonable and respectful request. Instead of a courteous response, the staff ignored us and began whispering among themselves, staring at my family in a way that made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome.
Unhelpful Reception Staff Following this incident, we approached the reception desk seeking assistance and hoping to speak with management. Unfortunately, we were met with further unprofessionalism. The receptionist seemed inexperienced and uninterested in addressing our concerns, responding to our issue with, “It’s normal.” There was no empathy, no attempt to understand our perspective, and no initiative to assist us.
Disrespectful Manager Interaction When the manager eventually arrived, we explained the situation and how the staff had handled it, hoping for a constructive and professional response. Instead of addressing our concerns, the manager dismissed our feedback by justifying their disrespectful behavior and actions. Rather than acknowledging the unprofessional conduct or offering an apology, he defended their dismissive behavior, leaving us feeling unsupported and unwelcome, as if our comfort and experience were not a priority. When we suggested that our request was merely a respectful recommendation, he responded, “This place is for tourists, and this is not something we do,” in a tone that was condescending, defensive, and undeniably discriminatory, implying our family did not belong there.
Checking Out When we checked out, we asked a staff member to help load our luggage into our car. He insisted on going to the garage to load the luggage there instead of bringing the car to the lobby. We followed him, and he placed all the bags in the trunk. However, upon arriving at the airport, we realized a backpack—containing our passports—was missing. I had to urgently take a taxi back to the hotel, paying for the round trip and waiting while we searched. We searched our room and questioned the staff who assisted us. They claimed they hadn’t seen the bag. Eventually, we found the backpack in the garage. Unfortunately, with little time left to catch our flight, I had to leave without further investigation.
Final Impressions Our experience with the management and staff was both unprofessional and, frankly, discriminatory, and it felt as if they even tried to steal our luggage. Their dismissive and disrespectful behavior left us feeling unwelcome and uncomfortable. For a hotel that advertises a five-star standard, this lack of respect, cultural sensitivity, and guest care is deeply disappointing. The treatment we received ensures that we will never return or recommend this property to others seeking...
