Rainbow Cafe. — Restaurant in Adur

Popped in for the first time today. The café was busy(always a good sign), very clean and the staff and owners really friendly and attentive. For that reason I didn't have the heart to give them feedback on their food at the time, I simply didn't want to upset them, because they were so nice. The prices are fair and the portion for a medium breakfast (which I had)was perfect, but there the praise has to end. The egg was undercooked, with the egg white runny(makes me gag), the hash browns were soft, not crispy, the sausage was cooked, but was tasteless, the baked beans didn't taste of anything. The only good part of the breakfast was the Toast and the bacon.(lovely and crisp) Guys, you were so nearly there, but just missed it. Take more time cooking certain parts of the breakfast longer(eggs) and maybe try a different brand (doesn't have to be Heinz)of Beans and of sausages and you will smash the competition out of the park. Come up to the counter And ordered 2 poached eggs on toast 2 bacon beans mushrooms and 2 sausage and cuppa tea

And my colleague ordered 3 poached eggs Mushrooms and bubble one hash brown 2 bacon and one sausage paid £21.40

Repeated it back to him he said yes the order come out it was what we ordered. Come out with one sausage sort and 1 bacon on the plate

Second plate didn’t have bubble and added extra hashbrown after relaxing the order only to be told he is new and they don’t do bubble the mushrooms didn’t tasted vile customers service was shocking and the table where to big for the chairs wouldn’t remained this place at all don’t...

My partner and I decided.to go out for breakfast for once, we usualy go toby carvery but decided to try a cafe 😊 we went in sat down and went to order. I asked for 2 things a full enlgish and a cheese bacon and sausage baguette. They told me i didnt order the baguette!!!! I deffinatly did so my breakfast came and had to wait for my partners. To top it all off the beans were cold, the bacon and sausage were tastless and they put half a tub of cheese in my partners baguette. Staff wernt the friendliest....when i ordered i was mid sentance and she started talking and serving someone else they came back to me. Such a shame. will not...
