The Farmers Pub & Food — Restaurant in Adur

If you are going to advertise free pool, it's an absolute disgrace to demand £2 per person to play. One of my mates only played one game and was still made to pay up. The attitude of the guy asking was disgusting.

I often visit the area and initially thought I had found a nice new pub to play pool in. If you are not local then please take my advice and save yourself from being scammed.

If like me you just want to have a few games and a few beers just go elsewhere. I'd rather pay upfront then be scammed. Also witnessed the racism here, if you are looking for an EDL social club this is probably the place for you!

I've been drinking in the farmers for 2 years since I moved down here never had a problem with anyone. The staff are very friendly and always make you feel welcome along with the customers. I have read some of the other reviews and I must say £2 for a game of pool? I have never paid that in there so I don't know where that comes from. Albe the manageress and her staff were fantastic. My wife had her 40th birthday there. We had about 60 people, and the staff made us feel really welcome and couldn't do enough for us. Great atmosphere. The DJ was fantastic, playing all the right stuff and even went out his way to get my wife and I's wedding song. Food was great, prices for drink was reasonable. Would absolutely use again and definitely recommend for functions. Gonna be my new local for a drink now. Well...
