As we first got there it was brilliant and nearer the end of our time at lido me and my younger brother, who’s 3, wanted to play in the shallower pool.They wouldn’t let me in because I was older and it was 8 and unders only. This happended twice. I think they should have a rule where if you have a big family then you should all be able to play together not in different pools. If you wanted to come here with a younger child and a 8+ child then I wouldn’t reccomend this place otherwise you should go there it is fun and nice place for younger kids to play in the pools. Read moreI Love it. My kids love it. I take the kids in the day, they love being outdoors, the play area is great for a post swim bribe to get them out the water.
The pools are warm, clear and we'll supervised. Neither pool is very deep but plenty deep enough for a fun swim time.
I also go by myself to the evening adult only sessions which are very civilised. Gentle or training swimming is welcomed. The view of the castle with the subseries behind it as you gentling swim from the deep end back to the shallow is definitely worth a visit for.
