Atlantis fish bar & greek food — Local services in Ashfield

Before eating from this place I always review the reviews. I ignore anyone who mainly gives positive reviews without critiques and ignore the ones that only give negative reviews without compliments. This subtracts the fake and useless reviews. Unfortunately for these guys that was most of the reviews. So allow me to give you a balanced review.

Ordered mixed kebab main and side of halloumi fries

Pro: food wasn't too bad, tasted fine. Delivery was prompt. Service was good and price for the kebab was fair

Cons: The hollumi fries was 3.50 and you get about 6-10 fries for that. I expected a little more. Also they were soggy as delivered in same box as wet salad and sauce. The kebab meat could have been cooked for a little longer as well.

The food was pathetic quality. The Halloumi Burger was the most soggy burger I have ever seen. The fish's batter was flavourless and tough, not crispy like batter should be. The chips were rediculously soggy and flavourless. And to top it off, we didn't even receive our drink or chips with the burger meal. The highlight of my order, was the curry sauce, which was ok, I guess. Really disappointed, because the last time I ordered from here, I got the greek food, which was delicious. I think Atlantis Fish Bar and Greek Grill, should just become Atlantis Greek Grill, because it definitely does not know how to make...

We've had some good food from here before but I won't be going again. We just had to wait 90 minutes for delivery which when it arrived was almost cold, the fish and chips meal...everything was soaked with oil, fish was soggy with it. The fish portion was also very small. I was shocked at how small the restaurant had cut the portion of fish for £8.50 it was really bad. The food was obviously hot when it was dished up as the polystyrene container was melted and misshapen. We're all feeling the rise in prices but if I'm paying £25 for a meal from a chippy for 2 adults and a child it had better be good...
