Absolutely disrespectful the food is awfull thought I'd give it the benefit of the doubt as my chicken was pink last time and I just bit my tongue. Then I went in yesterday and my brother found a hair in his food. We decided not to say anything as we thought we would be generous as you do and so I went on too eat my food and the eggs was terrible and I was so close to swallow a massive piece of egg shell the size of a two pence piece. that got to have been noticed by the chiefs as anyone can notice that it was massive and I could of been seriously injured and my brother also had raw pork what was ousing with blood that the manger at the time tried saying it was beef and it gets cooked like that to a standard. No defiantly not! He was also rude to me and my group of friends and didn't offer us nothing but a free drink. Wow a free drink? I've been in there muliptple of times spend hundreds on food and drinks the manager (bold arrogant and uprofessional) deserves to be stood in the middle of a pub on a busy night and sacking there is some genuine good staff there but he lets them down and the service lets them down and the food lets them down and the customer complaint handling lets them down. Why should this pub remain open. And btw I give them 0 stars because unfortunately you have to give 1 star to write...

Breakfasts are good staff friendly we've been having lunch here recently and the quality is excellent and consistent. UPDATE SEE END OF REVIEW buffalo Wings, Southern Fried Chicken Strips both served with sides and dips are excellent and full of flavour. Wife loves the fresh fish and chips. Getting difficult to find a seat lunchtime as the odd drinker will sit nursing their beverage and a newspaper in a bay which stops a full four places from being free for diners. Alas after several well below par meals over a period of months we no longer eat here such a shame as we used to eat here three times a week.UPDATE..... popped in again now they have a different manager. Food was good and arrived at table quickly. Young lady who brought food to table was happy and friendly. We had chicken wings with a hot sauce. Only thing that puts us off are the people hacking their guts up as you eat your meal🤢 Took our grandson for a meal food and service were both excellent but not the Pilgrim looks tired weary and in need of a major refurb come on owners make the premises shine like the...

It is curry day today we really wanted a pizza but that was yesterday. However we plumbed for the fish curries only to wait 15 minutes to be told oh we can't find any fish........ He then went away to find some vegetables instead and we got a vegetable curry instead.

the spices come through quite, there was a gentle heat and not as much ghee or oil as you would see in a lot of takeaways.. well, the food the rice isn't bad it's definitely not quick cook rice. The portion of curry is a bit meagre considering the amount of rice and nan and papadum. I found 16 chickpeas in it....and considering that's my main source of protein today and the whole rest of it is carbs yeah..... But the flavours are alright. So final thing is that the main was less than half the size of what you get given in a takeaway.... A chicken tikka masala was a better...

As with most Wetherspoons, you know what you're getting food and drink-wise. Good environment, rowdy without being over the top. Never usually a long wait for a table but more often than not, it's wise to have two possible food orders as they tend to run out quite quickly.

Girlfriend politely pointed out that there was no toilet paper in the toilet that had supposedly been checked (to the bar staff, and yes they do work bloody hard, no jest, I mean that) , and was asked to leave as she was making trouble? Not the best wetherspoons!
