I would like to make a formal complaint against the staff as Iâve paid a lot of money to get into London with my younger brother who is the age of 15 and wouldnât let him in as they had suspected he was older. they then got aggressive towards me and all the men stood above me and were shouting at me because I didnât have my brothers birth certificate I am absolutely disgusted in the staff in how they have treated me. I left in tears as they would not let me through with my brother. Ben was lovely and tried to help me get through the gates however the guards at the gates towered over me which doesnât look good on them when Iâm a young 17 year old girl. I felt very frightened and I suffer with terrible anxiety and had a panic attack. I do not recommend this place at all as most of the staff are very nasty and I actually felt abused in this environment absolutely disgusted. My brother felt very uncomfortable and under pressure while they asked him why he wasnât in school. My brother goes to a special needs school as he has disabilityâs when it comes to learning and they treated him with disrespect Iâm honestly very shocked and I will be taking this further. The one star goes to Ben for helping me and always staying positive he was so cheerful and had such...

I had just gotten into town after a 10 hour flight from California. I got my train tickets from Heathrow. I had been told my tickets (Heathrow express and Oyster card) would get me to this train station. I tapped my tickets every step of the way and was let through to get on each train.

It was obvious that I had made an honest mistake: I showed my California ID, explained that I was in town for just a few days, I had my luggage with me, I showed the attendant my phone with my planned trip from the airport, I offered to pay as I truly was unaware that my Oyster card would not get me to Ashford. Despite all this, I was fined!
It was a horrible way to start my vacation. ...
Read moreNow the Eurostar no longer services the station does Ashford station still warrant the "International" moniker? The international side of the station with its departure lounge and passport control area is frozen in time, the day Eurostar pulled up sticks and buggered off back to St Pancras. Even the escalators are turned off now and the Disney inspired lift stands like a monument to what this building was once a gateway to. The rest is an utter shambles of a station. Several lifts don't work, several toilets are closed, waiting rooms are cold and uncomfortable. The platform's are untidy and the disused Eurostar platforms are being left for the weeds to take over. It is as if Ashford station and Eurostar had a messy relationship breakup and Ashford took it badly and still cant quite let go. Ashford station needs to get its s@it together and get on with life...
