It's a nice play centre with the equipment that's relatively new. I like the fact that only children below 145cm are allowed to play there as you don't have that many older kids around so it's safer for little ones. It is a bit small v and especially in summer (we've but been in winter yet) it gets so hot in there that it's hard to believe. I don't usually sweat much but after about 5minutes in the with my little one I've had sweat dripping down my face. It looks like there is a door that could potentially be opened when it gets hot but unfortunately it wasn't when we were there. Also the parking isn't the best. So I've parked into a designated parking space and once we came out I was parked in by multiple cars and had to find people who the cars belonged to and unfortunately because you don't provide the centre with your reg plate when you go in they were unable to help me and I was stuck in there for ages. But all together a nice place for the little...
Read moreThe play area is brilliant for younger children, the adult seating area gives good views of the play areas to keep an eye on your children as they navigate the obstacles building their confidence and problem solving skills. However I was disappointed in the cleanliness or lack of it within the play area. In the under 3 section there was thick dust and dirt between the play mats. There were many soft toys which looked very grubby and will be impossible to clean on a daily basis. Also there was thick dust on the netting surrounding the equipment. The fire escape door was very easy for my 3 year old grandson to master and he opened it several times; this door led straight into the car park. It is such a shame as this could be a brilliant place that we would want to return to but unless the things I've highlighted improve I don't think we...
Read moreTwiggy's is an absolute lifesaver. My 4 year old will spend 3 or 4 hours running around, climbing up, sliding down, & round again, & again, & again. When we finally get him home, he's starving, will eat like crazy & sleep like a log all night. While we're there, they serve proper coffee, have nice cakes and there's usually enough tables & chairs for the parents to sit down & relax. It has a nice, relaxed atmosphere & the staff are excellent. They're also open in the school holidays, which is a huge bonus. If you go once, I can guarantee you that it will become a regular part of your routine - it's that good... Edit: 3 years later & it's still great. Almost everyone in his class has their birthday parties here too now, so it's even...
