Went for the whole trail and loved it! Took us about 6 hours with stopping in the middle! The weather was lovely so it was easy to stop at couple of places to rest but only one toilet in Warmly available so having some signs on other toilets available could be helpful. There was more bikers than walkers so some paths needs caution to wait for cyclists and walkers to share the path. The end of the path (bath) is poorly labelled so in the end of the trail there is about 3 km more to the bath station. There were some lovely views in middle points with fields and horses and cows around. Some of the initial signs in bristol are all vandalised so having a new signs will be helpful. I really enjoyed it and would love to try it again in different season but more small signs posts on the history of the trains and the path could be helpful :)!

As a walker, we had a really pleasant day and enjoyed the varied scenery the path had to offer. We went on a weekday and, from reading other reviews, would also avoid walking on weekends. It wasn’t very busy with cyclists but I can see how it gets risky as the path can be narrow at times. Don’t let that stop you from making the most of this path though! We walked from Bristol to Bath taking around 6 hours. There’s a very cool water fountain at the 8 mile mark. It’s very well maintained and flat. Much of the path is shaded with trees so if you’re expecting impressive views, you’ll have to leave the path at certain points but it’s very easy to re-join. Made for a cracking day out!

There's a few places for you to park up and head onto the path, it gets really busy on the old railway line but that's because it's a good one. Run, cycle, walk and even roller skate along, a nice tarmac path that takes you from one end to another. Plenty to see as you go along and if your lucky the stream train will go past, a few nice stupid for a refresher and the best drinking water fountain I've seen.

This is a railway path and not a cycle path. This is built for everyone to use. Can be a nice walk at times but can get busy with fast and angry cyclist. Sometimes passing very close to you faster than a car. Was told today, by a woman cyclist that, as pedestrians we should be walking in single file! The check of it!

Beautiful and long trail, rode right from the centre of Bristol all the way to centre of Bath, well sign posted, trail is clear and smooth, all pretty flat as well
