Wow wow wow. This is hands down one of the worst restaurants I have ever been to. Let's break it down:

Drinks: My partner and I ordered 2 soft drinks and a mint chocolate milkshake to share because they are super expensive. After ten minutes we received the milkshake and it was not what we were expecting, it was truly terrible. You'd think that mint ice-cream or mint extract would be used but instead it was mint leaves which after being blended become tiny fragments of irritating foliage that even now, several hours after having it are stuck in my throat.

As mentioned the price was incredibly high especially for the quantity, 250ml is simply a tiny amount for the price of £5 for 2 scoops of ice cream, some mint leaves, and some whole milk.

Sides: We ordered some cheesy fries and some mozzarella sticks. Again these were around £5 each and my god are they overpriced. The mozzarella sticks are not unlike the frozen ones you get from Asda, definitely didn't seem fresh which for that price I'd expect. Again the quantity was incredibly low, 4 mozzarella sticks which means each tiny thing cost for than £1 each it's ridiculous. At those prices you'd expect them to be those large rectangular ones. The salsa it came with was also clearly store bought and flavourless.

As for the fries they were covered in thyme and were soggy, no redeeming factors.

Burgers: So now onto the main course and the main selling point, what a letdown. For those prices I'd expect something rich, flavourful, and juicy but what we got were dry, underseasoned, meat pucks. I had a chicken burger and my partner had a beef one.

The chicken was dry and the flavour was terrible, definitely overcooked. The bun was dry and falling apart.

The beef was almost bitter and again incredibly dry.

My advice, don't waste your money here it's not worth the money at all. Cost us over £40 which if it was good quality I'd agree with but this meal was worth £20 tops and I'd still not think it was worth it.

Genuinely going to a McDonald's would give you a better meal and it'd be a fraction...

Burgers ordered: Two classics, one Italian job, one immortal. Well cooked, plenty for a single meal between friends. Food was tastey, however the burgers had lots of mayo and less house sauce, so it was barely noticeable. Sides: cheddar, feta, egg, tomato chips on the side and mozzarella sticks. Very tastey, could come back for plates of these alone. Food 4.5/5. Venue: the venue is kind of lost in terms of what it wants to be, a bar, a pub, a restaurant for locals, an inn. It's not really made up it's mind. The seating is raised narrow benches crammed in by the front door. Which means when it's cold and the door opens the whole place gets very cold and you get frozen. This is a shame as it detracts from the overall experience. There's very little space to sit and it doesn't really cater for children well, we couldn't see any high chairs or space for prams on the premises. It's very small and the stairs to the toilets downstairs are very narrow and steep. Comfort wise it isn't the best.

Venue 3.5/5. Staff: run by a lovely Greek gentlemen whose family visits the workplace. Caring and attentive to consumers, especially locals. Staff 4.5/5.

Price: including 2 shakes, half a cider and a fantastic: around £60.

Would we return? We walked from the otherside of Bath to experience these burgers. For the burgers we would return, for the experience we might consider something...

Small venue, nice and cosy but limited tables available. Nice to sit outside when the weather is good.

Our food wasn’t amazing as per other comments so we were a bit disappointed.

Both of our burgers were dry maybe we should have asked for more sauce but the patties and brisket itself were dry and overcooked so wouldn’t have made a difference.

Mozzarella sticks were overcooked/cold as the cheese string pull was short. The chilli/ sweet chilli sauce was a nice touch to it.

Fries were ok, too much seasonings and the cheese was a bit burnt but the chicken did pull nicely and was complimented by the sauce.

We understand it is a small business so didn’t want to ask to reduce the bill but it was a disappointing meal for us considering the previous reviews.

Price isn’t too bad but we live too far away to ever come here again from...

Overpriced burgers that does not cater for children is that even legal?£87 for 4 burgers 2 fries and a soft drink each. The pictures of the food look nothing like what’s served. We were charged a service charge without knowing from the owner that was as helpful as a hole in the head.we should’ve just walked on by.Just proves that literally anyone can run a burger shop. Reply:You do not have a children’s menu or offer anything else other than a full size burger, you know why?Because we asked you. You’re reply is a copy and paste.
