RBSA Gallery — Attraction in Birmingham

I visited on a Saturday afternoon. The gallery is quiet and modern-looking on the inside. The staff were very friendly and encouraging, and chatted happily about pieces they personally enjoyed from the current exhibition (their Summer Exhibition featuring mixed media artwork). There is a lift as well as stairs. Toilets are available. The shop on the ground floor has something for everyone, from cute postcards to tote bags to ceramics and jewellery. The shop accepts cards. Fantastic free art gallery, with a surprisingly high quality level of art work in the summer exhibition that rivalled the summer exhibition at the Royal Academy of Arts I went to a couple of weeks ago in London, great curating! I would definitely recommend this art gallery. Went here after a visit to the pen museum and 1000 Trades independent pub, so it made a fabulous day out today despite the rain and I will be back soon to see what other...

Very nice (free entrance) local gallery with two floors of exhibition.

I was there during the annual exhibition which was super varied with great breadth of art mediums, subject, emotions.

Space was a bit crowded with pieces so you may get overwhelmed but it’s also the opportunity to discover new artists or pieces you may not usually see.

All pieces were priced in a very affordable way.
