On my travels I came across the sign of The Oratory which is the national shrine of Saint John Henry Newman. As I strolled last the entrance I could not help be stop and stare at how grand and historical it all is my curiosity got the better of me so I headed inside to find a small paradise of history and beautiful scenery. You could almost feel the energies of the past sweeping through you as you wonder further in, the architecture is astoundingly creative and made me feel like a world away from worlds. Although I do not follow a religion I appreciated the shrine and it’s beauty to the dedication and feeling the warmth from just the outdoor area let’s me know the spirit knows a holy place when it finds one. So if you like history and you appreciate the gems of the city this is defo a nice adventure out.

Let's call this beauty the 'English Rome.' I often visit this Church to be close to God. As soon as you step inside, you'll feel this sense of entering into a different time in the past. Everything that happens at this church helps you to elevate your spirit to the mysteries of heaven. Consider visiting during Sundays to attend the most solemn celebration. During the weekdays this church is the best place if you want some quiet time.

A truly beautiful Church. The priests are very welcoming and there are plenty of services in vetus and novus ordo. Confession available before/during most services. The choir at a high Mass is truly amazing and definitely helps convey the image of Heaven which the Church does as well.

Such a beautiful church. It isn’t exactly in the city so it’s not too crowded. The mass was only around 30 mins (Friday 7:30). Very personal and welcoming ceremony. Offers a lot of opportunities for young adults to work with the church as well.
