Been coming here with my dogs for the last 2 years as it’s been helping with my mental illness and no one had an issue with it until today. I might also add that my dogs (especially the one I have now) are my emotional support need. I can’t go anywhere without them and become really anxious when I do.

One of the priest got aggressive with me this morning as I went to prey with my dog, AS ALWAYS, then after he aggressively escorted me off the grounds he walked away and then charged back at me with his fisted raised as I questioned him on his judgment on me.

I tried to explain my reasoning for being there with my dog but he just got more and more aggressive with me. I felt extremely uncomfortable in his presence the entire time and when I went back to speak to someone about it I was brushed off.

I certainly won’t be coming back again after the treatment I received this morning!!! I thought all creatures of God are welcome in his house....

On my travels I came across the sign of The Oratory which is the national shrine of Saint John Henry Newman.

As I strolled last the entrance I could not help be stop and stare at how grand and historical it all is my curiosity got the better of me so I headed inside to find a small paradise of history and beautiful scenery. You could almost feel the energies of the past sweeping through you as you wonder further in, the architecture is astoundingly creative and made me feel like a world away from worlds.

Although I do not follow a religion I appreciated the shrine and it’s beauty to the dedication and feeling the warmth from just the outdoor area let’s me know the spirit knows a holy place when it finds one.

So if you like history and you appreciate the gems of the city this is defo a nice...

I live in the U.S, visited for six months and found this parish and it is the best parish I have ever been to. The Extraordinary Form of the Mass is exactly that and more. I highly recommend attending to the High Mass at, generally, ten-thirty in the morning. However, I would still check the times on their website.

They do also have a shop where you can buy rosaries and rosary rings, prayer cards, books, pins, statues, missals, etc.

I would also like to thank everyone who works at this parish. Especially, Father Ignatius Harrison, Father Anton Guziel, as well as the kitchen and shop staff for everything. God...

Let's call this beauty the 'English Rome.' I often visit this Church to be close to God. As soon as you step inside, you'll feel this sense of entering into a different time in the past. Everything that happens at this church helps you to elevate your spirit to the mysteries of heaven. Consider visiting during Sundays to attend the most solemn celebration. During the weekdays this church is the best place if you want some quiet time.
