Chaps Pizza — Restaurant in Birmingham

What an abysmal experience. Firstly the order came late. Then when the driver came he complained about the address, he abruptly demanded like a policeman that I come to the door to collect it, even though my friend who met him at the door told him I cannot walk I'm sick, etc, yet with that he still said no and demanded I come. So my friend , not wanting to argue with imbeciles like him, said come inside and see him instead, so he came and saw the reality. Then hedropped the pizza on m legs which are injured and have arthritis , I screeched from pain, he didn't seem bothered, then put it somewhere else and left hurriedly even thought I was trying to talk to him as to what happened and all of this commotion. I didn't know the drivers were this inadequate. And to top this all of the actual food was atrocious. Uncooked, not fresh, cold. It caused my runny stomach and other symptoms of food poisoning. Be warned fellow humans. They didn't follow my delivery instructions I told him to call me first but he didn't.

The delivery issue was 13th of january 2024 saturday - saturday 13/01/2024

Aadam , Small...

This is a very good chippy but I have ordered delivery twice now and the delivery driver has over charged me twice and the food was cold. I ordered a chocolate ice-cream that's £5.99 and got a small piece of chocolate cake that was half the price of the ice-cream. Rang up to complain and was told that the driver would bring me my money back but he didn't show up so the next day I had to get the bus over to the shop and only got the money back for the difference between the cake and ice-cream and was told that I would have to wait for management to sort out the money that the driver over charged me but I am not holding out any hope for that tbf. I was a regular customer at this place but twice I have not been satisfied with my order so probably won't be going back...

Visited on Saturday late night before closing time. I've seen the Takeaway has re-open as it's been a while folded. Possibly the management has changed and re-opened I assumed. By the way I had an X-large thin crust pizza. A great range of choices and I've got my pizza pipping hot, within a very acceptable period of waiting and was of exceptional quality. Their pizza crust has all others beat. You want to eat the crust rather than discarding it like you might do to other pizzas. I was pleasantly surprised that my pizza was of ample portion size, fresh ingredients and tasted very good. Chicken and spicy beef were fabulous and perfectly cooked. They are fast, courteous, very clean.Well done lads! Let's just hope the next one I visit, is as good...
