Faulty seat belt buckle ! I sat in the seat, pulled the harness down and plugged the belt in. When the staff done his checks he pull on my seatbelt and it unplugged, so he plugged it back in. Then I pulled on it myself and it unplugged again, I tried to shout to the guy as he walked off but he didn’t hear me. The ride started to elevate as I’m trying to plug the belt in again and it kept unplugging, once the ride reached the top I just held tight onto the bars on the harness and hoped for the best with my heart beating out of my chest. Once the ride finished i could see the spring had snapped on the quick release mech inside the buckle lever causing it to fail. I notified the guy about the fault to which he replied “well it was working” I explained to him it kept unplugging and he just said “I’ll keep an eye on it”. I realise the belt is only a secondary fail safe device but it just didn’t seem like the guy cared about it at all and the ride continued to go on for the rest of the day.

The operators seem to be a bit of a joker dropping it early or pretending the release button isn't working but adds to the thrill. There's actually some spectacular views from up there, too!

Quick ride, short wait and very high thrill! It feels mich higher than it looks from the bottom too, so I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re terrified of heights. It’s an easy ride to get on multiple times when you’re there!

You know what's going to happen. You see it going up and down all day and every time it's over in seconds. You decide to give it a go; it's in the angry birds section, it can't be that bad.

I was wrong, the ride isn't just the drop it's the journey on the way up too. You get a countdown when you're up there but it doesn't matter, your fate is in the hands of the ride operator. Your stomach is in your mouth and away you go.

You know how they say your life flashes before your eyes when you think your going to die? To me this was the most disappointing part because it made me realise I have achieved nothing in my years on this earth. Thanks for the reality...
