Native Bristolians first visit to this beautiful and interesting chapel. Its small but perfectly formed, with really interesting details from different centuries over its long life. They only ask for a few pounds, it'll only take a short time out of your day, but if you are visiting the cathedral over the road its a very easy walk to visit this too

Well worth a visit. Lots of history, and don't miss the shield of Richard Amerike, the sheriff of Bristol, just inside the door. He sponsored Cabot's first modern voyage to America (and yes, new countries are usually named from surnames, not first names). And guess what his shield carries stars and stripes! Very friendly staff too.

If you love history and architecture, then this is the place for you. It’s small compared to it’s neighbour, Bristol Cathedral, but it’s packed with loads of interesting things to see.

Interesting historical site. A lot of the fixtures and fittings from its 800+ year history are still in place. The footprint of the chapel shows how its built into the hill that the cathedral, and the choir school were built on and all the wine cellars (such as Harvey's) were built into. I found the people looking after the chapel knew a lot of the interesting development of the docks in the centre ( many of which have been...
