Read moreCambridge Market needs to vet their stall sellers!!
I recently visited the vintage coat seller on Cambridge Market Street and had a rather unpleasant experience. I was browsing the stall with the intention of purchasing a vintage coat when, within minutes, the stall owner approached me in a rude and potentially unstable manner. She stood behind me and shouted, 'No, get away, I am allergic to your coat you are wearing, leave now.' At first, I laughed nervously, thinking it might be a joke or a misunderstanding. However, it became clear from my friend's reaction, who was with me, that the stall owner was indeed addressing me and was serious. She then covered her face and directed me out of her stall area. Read moreI found Cambridge Market Square underwhelming. For such a historic and vibrant city, I expected something more distinctive and rooted in the local culture. Instead, the stalls felt generic, selling things that could be found in almost any market elsewhere. There wasn’t much that felt uniquely “Cambridge” about it.

Overall, the market lacks character and originality. It doesn’t showcase local produce, crafts, or specialties in a way that would make it worth visiting. Honestly, there’s nothing that makes it feel like a must-see in Cambridge—it could just as easily be...
