Lion Yard — Attraction in Cambridge

Today I parked at level -2 . Upon entrance, signage mentioned lifts were not working . I accepted this and continued to park on level -2 .

I was kindly helped to level -1 where I got a lifting by a staff member cleaning the car park.

I went out and then returned to pay for my ticket at the machine. Due to the lift only going to level -1 I went to the north lift and ended up in the bike sales area. I was lost and was then pointed to the south lift. Once I got to level -1. I had to get a member of public down to level -2 .

However once getting to the payment barrier it asked me for a further £4.90.

Both staff members were rude and unhelpful.

I explained my situation and that I had a baby and a pram to carry down. They were not understanding and insisted that I pay the £4.90 extra as I did overstated a “10 minute grace period”.

I asked to speak to a manager , they said there wasn’t one one.

I asked for the name of the staff member and he said his name was plazej, . He wouldn’t give me a surname .

I found the whole handling of this unacceptable.

There’s were no ramps or walkways , nor was there any accessible access.

I paid for my parking and the lack of service provided to me as a paying customer is simply not good enough. The service and attitude from staff members also lacked any empathy or understanding of the situation, they instead aimed to blame me rather than find a solution. Absolutely appalling service. I request a refund , and a written apology from Pazej. I also expect all staff members to be adequately trained to provide a service that helps. “Help” button should be a direct call to someone helping, not someone with a bad attitude who blames...

I visited Cambridge from America, my friend took me to the city center where they have the Lion Yard Management shopping mall for shopping. I saw most of the stores they have in the USA. We bought two different design wrist watches one of them is Fossil Gen 3 Smartwatch and bags. Omg! I love the watches tho it's expensive but it worth the money You can play music with the watch, it's compatible with Android and iOS 9.0 and above. You can read messages and use them for exercise. Seriously, guys, I love everything I bought and their clothes look unique and different from what we have in America. I will really love to visit the Lion Yard Management again.

In case you're new in Cambridge and you're looking for where to shop, go to the city center, there are lots of shops there where you can shop both Zara, TKmax, Next, Marks and Spencer, T.M Lewin, Vans, H.M, Clarks, Fossil, Sunglass hut, John Lewis, L.KBennett, ED'S Easy Dinner, Polar O. Pyret, Raspberry PI, Laura Ashley, Levi's, etc. Most of these stores are inside the Lion Yard Management shopping mall. When you go out of the mall there are restaurants where you seat, rest, and eat before you continue your shopping or journey.

I am having so much fun in Cambridge I can't deny that and I am going to miss this small...

Lot of boutique shops. Parking could have been cheaper One of the expensive parking in the country. 2.80 pounds per hour. Total rip off. I pity Council guys don't know any other way to increase the income. If they reduce parking fee and bring more parking that will income to retailers. I love the fact Leys school nearby offered daily parking for 6 pounds during Christmas season. Cambridge University colleges also could do this role get more income on their side.
