Had an absolutely awesome time this Sunday for my 11 year olds birthday. We did the Bank Job game with Jade as our Games Master. Jade was amazing and and gave the girls a really good immersive experience. The faces on all the girls as they scurried around trying to find and solve the clues was pure gold. The game set was excellent. Very believable. I was quite shocked at first to see the van doors that open into a bank vestibule. I'll say no more, lol. All the staff we encountered on Sunday were all amazing. I didn't get the name of the person that signed us in and did the orientation but she was great with the girls, made everything clear for them and was went above and beyond when there was a problem with the drinks we bought. All the bottles she pulled from the fridge had expired but we sorted it and she outright refused to take any money for it. Overall the game was awesome, the staff were awesome and my daughters and their friends had an excellent time and are really excited to try the sequel game.
Toilets available, food and drink available. Lockers are provided. Not sure about accessibility as the game we played was upstairs. Not sure if there are any games downstairs. Paid council parking is just across the street with an electric car charging area attached or limited, free disabled parking is available on the street outside...
Read moreI recently had the absolute pleasure of visiting Chesterfield Escape Rooms, and it was nothing short of a thrilling, immersive adventure. My friends and I tackled the "Rob the Bank 2" room, and start to finish, it was an experience that will be hard to top. The room itself was incredibly well-crafted, with every puzzle intricately designedânot too easy to solve, yet not frustratingly difficult either. The challenge was perfectly balanced, it kept us on our toes the entire time. We managed to escape with 10 minutes and 57 seconds to spare.
However, what truly made the experience unforgettable was Amelia, our host, who brought the room to life. Her talent for accents was remarkable and ability to interact with us both in character and professionally was seamless, making the experience even more entertaining. She made us laugh, kept us engaged, and added a layer of fun that elevated the entire experience.
Chesterfield Escape Rooms has something truly special, and I can't recommend it enough. If you're looking for an escape room that combines humor, challenge, and outstanding storytelling, this is the place to be. And if youâre lucky enough to have Amelia as your host, youâre in for an...
Read moreChaotic, a complete assault on the senses, but an awful lot of fun. Not your normal escape room.
Escape rooms for 9 people are hard to find. Good ones even harder. We did rob the bank 2, and really enjoyed it. We even snuck out, just, with a cool ÂŁ58m of loot.
It wasn't a strictly sequential-solve room, which meant there was more than enough going on to keep everyone busy at all times. It's great for bigger groups, but requires real discipline in communicating clues.
Clues were well designed, appropriately challenging, without anything overly frustrating/time wasting. There were several novel components, including a few that I've not come across before, and a LOT of host interaction. Hosts Oliver and Eva put on a real show, accents and all.
The only small frustration was the existence of two total red-herring locks. With so much going on, I'm not convinced they added much to either the difficulty or fun level. They mainly ended up a bit of a disappointment for the person who ended up dedicating a lot of...
