Oxmarket Contemporary — Attraction in Chichester

I recently visited the Oxmarket gallery to preview the latest exhibition. The gallery has been refurbished and presents as being airey and well set out. The photography exhibition is varied and awesome, as are the many paintings. The ceramics and glassware were wonderful, showing passion and attention to detail. Very friendly and helpful receptionist. I have not visited the Gallery since it was taken over. Excellent refurbishment but very sad to see and read that there is no plaque or mention of the great Bluestone family who were responsible for the founding of the Oxmarket. I sold at the gallery for many years and loved the atmosphere and the wonderful staff. And where is Peter Iden's painting now. History is history. Why...

Free art gallery in a building previously used as church containing some beautiful artworks which are available for sale with display of sale price on each item.
