Boston Tea Party — Restaurant in Chichester

Went in for a quick drink upon someone else's positive recommendation and so glad that I did as I have found a place I will definitely return to! The space is light and airy, with plenty of room between the tables and booths. There are quieter areas and places to be more sociable if you wish. The cafe is clean and has a nice relaxed contemporary vibe which feels special and not cookie cutter.

Our server was friendly and very welcoming. He took the time to seat us in an area that worked with my needs as a wheelchair user - without making me feel awkward. Service was quick and pleasant with our server, happy to chat and make suggestions on what to order.

Although I did not eat, the cakes and the food on display looked absolutely delicious and I have it on good authority, that is truly the case! I shall be sure to sample their food next time I visit.

This is a place I can see myself coming back to for a post shopping-spree lunch, to meet friends or to grab a drink and disappear into a book on a rainy afternoon.

Accessibility: fantastic from the moment I rolled through the door! I use an electric wheelchair and am always nervous about trying new restaurants. Went at around 1600 to have our first meal of the day. Waited less than 3mins to be seated anywhere we liked 😁. Guy told me they were closing at 1700. Not a problem as we were famished.

My partner ordered the big boss. There wasnt any black pudding but he rated this dish a strong 7/10. He attacked the toasts that were perfectly brown and crunch. Beans and the sausages were his next victim then the bacon next. 😅 i think he saved the best for last... BTP had gorgeous hash browns 😍 crisp on all sides, soft and moist on the inside. Lovely isnt it?

I had bacon bap with extra egg and extra hash 😅 nothing fancy really but done really well. 😁

The place felt very homey and cosy. You can get yourself a glass of water from their tap. They have loos and they accept credit card payments. THEY have wifi which yiu can use to scan the qr code and start ordering through your phone. Conveniently located in the Chichester high street. Before or after shopping, treat yourself to good food. 😊

What an impressive team. They all worked hard, and most smiling with it (some even singing together!) Lots of choice available, and kids options too. One person seems mainly dedicated to keeping the place clean and tidy, an excellent touch. Order at counter, or scan the code. Rather stingy food portions (boss breakfast (£15) = 1 sausage and 2 small bits of bacon, no tomato, and half a mushroom!).  However food is all of high quality. Home made hash browns! Pretty fast service, (13 minutes from order). Chef seems well organised, and plate presentation is good. Staff working together as a team remarkably well. Not a great coffee. Dog friendly Free Wi-Fi Delivery available. There was one small issue, but the staff got on it with care immediately.

Overall I'd like to see the ability to add more individual items, and better coffee, but the team work excellently together, and produce delicious food. You get what you pay for, and this place...
