I rarely leave reviews, however felt I had to for this experience. We wanted to try this place for the first time as it’s new however definitely won’t be returning.
Firstly, the staff were chaos - it wasn’t even that busy yet there was a clear lack of organisation. Maybe this is because it’s a new place? Not sure, however I witnessed multiple people’s orders go wrong whilst sat in the queue.. which takes me onto my next point - I was waiting 15-20 minutes in a queue of 3 customers just to place my order, I think in the end it took 3 different staff to swap on the till as other jobs weren’t getting done.
Then the food… disappointing. I’m not vegan however have tasted vegan food before and it’s always been good, full of flavour etc. - however ours was bland, no flavour, very small portions and just looked poor to be honest.
I also was given the wrong coffee! As were the table next to us… bit of a shambles.
Not sure if this was just a bad day for them, or if this is the experience that everyone has. But it was poor enough for me to leave a...
Read moreThis place clearly has no capacity — or interest — in handling honest feedback. Criticism might sting, but it’s what drives improvement. Instead, they deflect, deny, and lash out.
The food was bad. Plain and simple. No seasoning, undercooked eggs, rock-hard toast, and beans that tasted like nothing. This isn’t a favour — it’s a business. People pay to eat here, and that comes with a basic expectation of quality. If you want praise, earn it with good food.
Worse still was the response. Rather than take accountability, they chose to lie — claiming staff checked in when they didn’t — and respond with passive-aggressive, borderline hostile messages. It’s clear the people behind the scenes lack both professionalism and emotional intelligence. People have the right to leave feedback in whichever way they feel convenient.
Reputation isn’t built through denial. It’s built through how you handle your customers — especially when things go wrong. And here, they’ve shown exactly...
Read moreMy first comment was ‘Oh no, not another coffee shop’ but just 30 minutes later I had found a new favourite place! The tables are well spaced and coupled with the decor, creates an airy space with nice buzz rather than loud noise. I would happily eat everything on the menu and pretty much everything was available as a plant based option and all were gluten free. The presentation was excellent and the attention to detail obvious down the way the cutlery and napkins arrived. Staff were efficient and friendly and our smiling faces and empty plates tell you the important things. I had a breakfast burrito which had a clean, spicy taste and good combination of textures. My daughters GF banana pancakes were moist and accompanied by a perfect amount of strawberry and basil compote which had good chunks of fruit. We don’t just recommend 17GRAMS but would day...
