A magical place for me since I was a toddler. The only place I know in Scotland where you can explore the flora of so many different climates, laid out to keep your interest, with regular art exhibits that complement the surroundings, information everywhere, something always in bloom, scientific elements, huge carp swimming away peacefully... If you are really interested in life on earth, this is a Scottish must-see.

Fantastic public resource. The glass houses are pay to enter, but are also a must see. So we didn't mind paying the £7 adult entry. Especially as the rest of the gardens are free. At 2 Degrees temperature outside, we also enjoyed the heat of the tropics, if only for the hour we spent strolling along the internal paths.

Sadly you cant visit no more as it not open to the public but we got a sneak preview, and a look round . Will be open again soon. The new bit as it a building site but it does look amazing cant wait on it opening up properly. So nice to do this.

Poor experience. Only half the exhibits were open and it wasn't that amazing. Luckily we only paid for one ticket because we had 2for1. The staggered entry times for every 5 minutes seemed unnecessary since there's plenty of space inside for more than one group to be in the glasshouse at once. I'm sure it's better without covid restrictions but it wasn't great for us. Would avoid if the queue is longer than 10...

Fantastically maintained with lot of variety of plants and trees. We haven't been inside as it has a fee and we didn't want to spend at that time, as we will be visiting sometime again later, but we have seen the entrance demo part of how it will look from inside which was beautifully maintained. It has some very beautiful flowers and some very rare species of plant from all...
