Leith Makers hosted my first solo art exhibition, Scatter. My work combines digital and traditional photography, mixed media, video and installation to show my strong interest in creative expression born from trying to understand loss following the death of my daughter Rebecca. Leith Makers was the perfect space for my exhibition. It isn't a white cube but is quirky and is stuffed full of character. I received lots of positive feedback. The staff are knowledgable and super helpful when planning and setting up exhibition, arranging opening night and providing assistance when constructing the exhibition and when taking it back down. Read moreThe shop and monthly markets at this space are lovely, but I'd especially recommend the workshops that they host. I went to a landscape sip and paint event and it was brilliant. Richa, the instructor, was really welcoming and brilliant at explaining what we would be doing and the materials that we were working with.
