Cafe Praline — Restaurant in City of Edinburgh

Best bakery in Edinburgh, no questions asked. Where do I start? Their bread selection and quality and flavour is out of this world. The cakes, OMG, they're literally to die for! Great selection, all freshly made and amazing value for money. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and if anything, you need to try the Macarons, fresh with beautiful fresh fruit and just delicious. This is definitely a little bit of France right in the heart of Leith. And the delivery service is 10/10, this has been built up and you can tell they've got a complete passion and attention to detail in everything they do. Fancy a nice treat in Leith, then you've found the place. I'll definitely be going in and getting deliveries a whole lot more. A great way to start your day or a beautiful treat after a hard day, either way I can't recommend Café Praline enough. You just need to try it for yourself....

The staff were nice and smiley, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, they didn’t have either of the two items we originally wanted to order,but that’s understandable, it happens.

We went with the chicken focaccia instead, but it wasn’t great. The bread was burnt and dense, far from an actual focaccia. It was supposed to have avocado, but it turned out to be a guacamole spread, and they only added about three thin slices of chicken.

We would have shared this feedback, but no one came to check on us during the meal. The portion size was fair, but that didn’t help since the taste was disappointing.

Wouldn’t recommend this place for sandwiches, especially not...

I come in this cafe a lot and it has gone down hill . The service is terrible the girls look bored stiff and cannot be bothered to even speak . I was in here a few weeks ago and was served a croissant and it had flies on it . I asked for another and it had the same small flies stuck to it. It was pretty disgusting. Today i have come in again and wish i hadn't . Asked fir a toasty and I've never seen such a insipid thing in all my life . It was thrown at me and was the worst food I've had in a cafe won't be coming in again. Dunno who owns it but you...
