This is an iconic location to take an excellent picture of the Edinburgh castle. Now, unfortunately, the lighting is not as good for my picture as it is in many of these that are posted. Yet it was still nice. I would say that it’s actually not difficult to get a picture without having lots of people in the background. It was an exceptionally busy day on the Royal mile but I was able to get in and out without difficulty. This will be a very quick stop but highly recommended.
