Sensory Corner: Review is based on my child being 2 years old. It was quite basic in there. Soft foam and mesh type gate that you open when youāre entering and then close visa versa.
A few age appropriate toys in a decent condition. My toddler was happy when he entered but within 10 minutes got bored as it really wasnāt much to do in there. In terms of sensory it could be better compared to others weāve seen. We like that itās allocated to baby/toddler and parents for 30 minutes. But then after we came out, another parent randomly entered with their child, during what was actually our allotted slot. There are signs on the gate that show the rules clearly but itās ignored. For this reason, we would give this area and experience a 2/5.
Toddler Area: Iām very disappointed at the lack of monitoring this area. There are signs that say āmaximum age 3 in our toddler area (children must be supervised by an ASULT over age 16) children cannot supervise children sorryā. There was an incident where a child (around 5ft), was spread laying across both sets of slides, preventing my 2 y/o from getting down the slide. This child started banging on the sides of the soft play area and staring at my toddler watching us all like a hawk. After more erratic behaviour, it was very clear that the child was trying to scare my toddler. Reported this to staff and they called across then the child left. During our hour here in the toddler area, several children over 3 (again, judging by height only 4-5 foot) were in this area thatās supposed to be for under 3s ONLY. Poor monitoring from staff, as I said, really disappointed but eventually when the older kids had gone he started to enjoy himself, really happy, then more came in, barging into everything, so Iād give this area and experience a 3/5.
For whatever reason, big kids kept entering this space, and Iām wondering if itās because the larger kids area is overcrowded? If so, Iām concerned that this poses a serious safety risk. To be honest, the older kids alone just in the baby/toddler area pose a safety risk. Please sort this out.
Customer service: Staff were friendly, polite and helpful pre-booking, and were quick to respond when I reported the issue so Iād say 5/5.

Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe've come here a few times now and this visit will be our last. Today we've bought our little girl for her 2nd birthday.
Upon arriving here, there was no one even out on the desk, the whole area completely unmanned.
After someone came out and we paid we went to find seating. Only to find that where we wanted to sit there was a lot of food scattered all over the floor by two of the tables. So we had to sit elsewhere.
Whilst being here for over an hour the staff have not been out to clean it up. About half an hour ago two members of staff came out to deliver food to people sitting at one of the two tables with the food on the floor. (Note: these people arrived after us and sat at one of the tables that had less food on the floor).
The staff have still have not cleaned up the food mess.
If that isnt bad enough we asked for a cup for our little girl, upon getting it there was a bit inside so I removed it. Upon doing so I noticed that there was a horrible smell coming from it. Upon smelling the cup further it was easily recognisable as gone-off stale milk.
I went to the desk to inform the member of staff and he didn't seem at all phased, he swapped it for another which took him a minute or so to find a 'suitable one'. He smelt it and said "I think it's the smell of the plastic".
I asked him how they were cleaned and he said they hand wash them. Obviously not well enough. The replacement cup given smelt of stale caramel. We haven't used the cup. These cups should be washed in very hot water and sterilised.
Whilst writing this review a female member of staff has just come out to 'clean' the table. She's just brushed the food that was on the table on to the floor...
We are absolutely disgusted.
This place is a health hazard.
I will be informing Dudley environmental health.
Apart from that the staff in here are not monitoring or watching the play areas. At least 90% of the time they are behind the desk talking or in the back kitchen area.
We do not recommend this place if you value the health and safety of your child(ren).
I would have left 0 stars if at all possible!

Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe booked for the Easter event with farmer Joe and his wife, we paid the extra but unfortunately left with two disappointed boys,
It wasn't a fun filled event, it consisted of 2 activities , find the hidden eggs around softplay which they were given 5 minutes there was hardly any eggs to find compared to children so alot of kids missed out,
There was a " guess how many eggs in a jar " which lasted about 20 minutes,
The rest of the time the kids were left dancing their hearts out on the hopes they were deemed good enough to be the best dancer and when they was they was given lolly pops or mixed sweets,
They met the Easter bunny for a picture but left empty handed, the whole story was that scallywags was the only softplay with a machine that made tons of eggs yet none was given other than maybe 2 or 3 kids. One of my boys was given a plastic medal because he become so upset he didn't get an egg or sweet, my other son had to ask for one and was becoming increasingly upset because he wasn't being noticed,
When we left there was a few other disappointed parents in the parking area, a few expressed the concerns about not receiving even a small treat size egg from the bunny, alot of upset and confused kids when we left, they all danced their hearts outs on the hopes they would get an egg yet left empty handed, a few parents questioned why we paid extra when it was just like a normal session, unfortunately I don't think id be in a rush to book again, it's caused alot of upset and confusion with my boys, so we will just stick to the usual Sunday...
