Be careful with this company. They were in Ipswich but had to close early 2 years in a row because of algae. They then liquidated ‘Aqua park Suffolk’ and kept in total £38k of customers money. The ‘Aqua park group’ have in total 3 separate companies so be careful how you deal with them.
Disgusting. Cancelled my booking and instead of refunding me they said they would ‘credit’ my account. I want my money back but guess what they have no customer services! No on answeres the phone for Suffolk surprise surprise. Call Rutland and all you get is an automated message! AVOID this company they’re clearly only interested in your money cancel your booking and think they have the right to keep it.
In response to your reply, you do not answer phone calls for Suffolk like I said in the above review also when you choose the Rutland option it gives you an automated messaged then hangs up. So no you cannot just call and speak to a manager. I emailed your company you chose to respond to my review within an hour, yet you took a whole day and a half to respond to my email, considering these were both sent at the same time. So to add to the original review it proves again your customer service is non existent. Maybe if you put the customer first then this review wouldn't of been here in the first place. The review is fair as it is a true reflection of your company from my point of view no matter what your...
Read moreTook the grand children and their friends to this Aqua park, having been to the Basildon one. This site has a few more slides/floating structures and is probably more interesting in comparison. Changing rooms and toilets were clean and sufficient in size and amount to cope with the crowd. The down side is, there is no cafe/food hut on the waters edge, so it's best to take snacks/drinks with you as I find children will always want to eat/drink immediately after swimming. Also the layout of the areas was a little weird, on one side of a road you have the reception, changing rooms and life jackets/wet suits/health and safety talk, then on the other, entry to the lake. The road it crosses has direct access to the Travel Lodge hotel, so while the staff placed cones across the road to allow people to go back and forth, the cones had to be continually moved to allow guests access into their hotel, which Isn't safe for younger children to cross (I know they have to be over a certain height). The hotel guests had to sit and wait patiently for a staff member to become 'Free' to move the cones, which (whilst I was standing waiting for my grand kids to get dressed), 4 vehicles were in a queue trying to get to the hotel... Overall they all enjoyed their selves and found it quite tiring trying to pull yourself up out the water each time...
Read moreMy twins arranged this trip for their birthday. Around 12 of us went in total. It was a shame the weather wasn't the best, but we had a great time nonetheless.
If you're one of those people that like to do something different, enjoy a bit of exhilarating adventure, this us for you, and it's suitable for all ages. Before visiting, Aqua Park took us all through a series of online health and safety questions, provided a video of as part of the satey instructions, which also gave a map of the area and the activities available. On arrival, there were further checks and plenty of qualified staff and instructors, that were on hand to help should difficulties arise,, or even if you just felt nervous!
