Cleethorpes Boating Lake is a great place to take the family for a day out. There is plenty of seating, with picnic benches and tables scattered around the lake. There are also a sandpit. The lake itself is a great place to take a stroll, feed the ducks, or hire a boat and go for a paddle

The lake is open all year round, but it is particularly popular in the summer months. There is a cafe on site, which serves a variety of food and drink. There are also toilets and changing facilities.

Overall, Cleethorpes Boating Lake is a great place to spend a day with the family. There is something for everyone, and it is a great way to enjoy the outdoors.

Here are some tips for making the most of your visit to Cleethorpes Boating Lake:

Pack a picnic lunch to save money. Wear sunscreen and insect repellent. Bring a change of clothes for the kids, in case they get wet. Take a break from the sun in one of the many shaded areas. Don't forget to feed the ducks!

I would definitely recommend Cleethorpes Boating Lake to families with children. It is a great place to spend a day outdoors, and there is something for...

The boating lake has been in Cleethorpes for a great many years. Countless visitors to the area have been. Situated on Kings rd, it runs parallel with tbe sand dunes. Inhabited with many ducks and geese, a grest place to take young children to see and feed them. However, please take heed of the notices about what not to give these birds. During the holiday season, you can hire a rowing boat for an hour and take your own trip around the lake and islsnds within. Fancy refreshments? You have a choice of the "Discovery centre" where there is a cafe, or; situated in the car park is a small ice cream and refreshment hut. Young children may like to try the small paddling pool, enclosed at the far end of the boating lake, or the play and sand pit, close to the Discovery centre. Eithet way, a perfect place for a...

Beautiful scenery but that's all I can say about haven caravan site very pricey with little to do. Meals where terrible and overly experience not much for kids to do except overly priced activity's. Night bar you can be cueing for hours to get it. Beer was waterd down drinks were pricey. Swimming baths water felt dirty skin very dry once u leave the pool. Cleethorpes town centre was apoling absolutely nothing to do barring arcades that are over priced. Cafes meals were over priced £56 for 3 toasties 3 milkshakes tuna salad and a latte😲 (shocking!!!!). And the beaches were full of mud not sand that ruined our footwear all and all we won't be visiting again. Only entertainment for me was the beautiful wildlife as I'm a wildlife photographer. But I would definitely not recommend cleethorpes to anyone very...

Outstanding place to stroll with your loved one, or even your wife!!, or better still someone else's wife!! Flanked by the dunes of the Humber estuary, the lake has plenty of birds to feed, there is a children's paddling pool area, only open from July because alas, its not heated. Take a trip on the miniature railway, to the end of the lake and back, its not expensive at all. Or even hire a boat for a relaxing row around the lake. Take the children, grandchildren, borrow someone else's, (as long as you give them back at the end of a day) there's nothing nicer than seeing the wonder on a child's face as they feed the ducklings. Have a rest halfway round at the cafe, grab a coffee, beer, ice cream or pizza while you sit and relax. It really is a jewel in Cleethorpes crown.
