How are you still open? I have never seen such incompetence! I will begin my tale of woe by setting the scene, me my wife and my 2 children were about to embark on our lengthy trip home when we had the idea of grabbing tea on the way home so not wanting McDonald's like the children me and wifey decided on taco bell. So off we went to sit in the queue at the drive through for 10 minutes. The queue did not move, my wife commented on the fact that "this is not much of a drive thru they only have one window" at which food was delivered to the first car so I thought here we go! Being the 3rd car in the queue I thought we would be getting food soon enough. When the first car pulled of we moved forward to read a hand made sign in the drive thru window that couldn't be read from 2 cars back stating "cash only" at this point me and the wife both profained in the presence of our children because we only had the plastic. While convinced I had just wasted my time sustenance was still required so we pulled up in the car park to walk in and order it over the counter. I know what you people are thinking, that this isn't that big a deal but when I walked in the queue was heaving there was a whopping 2 people waiting to be served before me! I held my nerve and braved the 10 minutes of queing for the astronomical amounts of customers! Honestly I believe your staff could be overwhelmed by having to walk and talk. When I eventually got to the front of the queue, a split second before I could order your employee held a finger up to shush me and politely said that she must inform me that there is a 25 minute wait on food. I responded with "that would've been helpful information 10 minutes ago when I walked in" to which she responded smugly "meh I have to go on my break soon". She didn't even apologise! Seething with anger I left before saying something that I probably shouldn't have, and went for a KFC that took 30 seconds to pay for and receive.
I have never dealt with incompetence of this level, absolutely zero customer care will never come back to this...
Read moreFilthy, staff don't seem to care, not COVID safe at all. Entered and there was one other table in the whole place. About ten empty ones, and all were filthy. Asked if it would be possible for someone to wipe the table, and a member of staff came over after about five minutes, sprayed a 5p size bit of spray and wiped half of the table a couple of times. Didn't bother doing any of the rest of them whilst she was literally stood there with the spray! Took my children to use the toilet, it wasn't particularly clean. No soap. Thought we would use hand sanitizer as a second best. No hand sanitizer. Wow, there was me thinking we were in the middle of a pandemic. Dirty toilet, dirty table, dirty hands. If you have any concern about COVID or just standard everyday cleanliness, I would not touch this place with a bargepole. Next, drinks! Great, only half were empty/only water. Only diet coke available. Had to ask twice for the blackcurrant to be refilled, and it eventually was. The food was ok when it arrived, but it's a shame the staff just do not seem to care. We cleaned our own table when we left, as best as we could with napkins, since we didn't expect it would get cleaned after, but again, with COVID this place should be at the very least giving each table a basic clean...
Read moreNo stars, if possible. Deliveroo website wasn't too clear about subtracting items, and didn't wanna pick bits of lettuce out of everything. So, I called. Called again, and again, and again. After spending too much time on the blower, we decided to go down to the branch. It was intended to be a delivery, and a night in. But, due to the employees not giving a toss about the incoming calls, a delivery was out of the question. We drove down, and the place was empty. There must have been two or three customers who had food already. No visible staff around. After eight minutes, as the only requiring customers, we decided to leave. As we got into the car, there were at least four staff outside at the back smoking, and messing about on their phones. We went over the road to KFC.
Called in today, a year or so later, after being in the area. There is NO STAFF in there, anymore. Everything is automated with grubby fingerprint-covered screens to order from. No staff available, and nobody to take order. So, again, we walked out of the cashless...
