Although Ive lived overseas for twenty years I never miss an opportunity to visit my home town of Sherborne when in the UK as was the case recently. High on my list of priorities is a walk or two through these gardens. It plain to see that the team who look after them do a Stirling Job and the Sherborne Town Council are not shy of investing in them for the benefit of everyone. I was particularly impressed by the new water features which I could enjoy in the peace and quiet of a 5.30 am stroll. I have many happy childhood memories of these gardens and they are a haven of peace, tranquility. The hidden gems in this place are what make it so amazing and personal to anyone who visits regularly. It is stunning at any time of the year. I would reccomend wandering from the top of cheap street down, grabbing a Costa, doing some shopping, then buying a cooked pizza from sainsburys and eating with friends in your special place. However, there are so many ways to enjoy this beautiful park. I go here about once a week, it is sort of like a club area for me and my friends, yet it is currently under construction (the band stand) and this has pulled our visits to a halt.
