The Station Cafe — Restaurant in England

Why is it that every time my husband and I come to sherborne in the evening the disabled toilet isn't doubled locked by the people that own the cafe. But when the owner's of the cafe see me and my husband in the town they always end up double lock it. We are just simple travellers that pass through, every now and then. The woman in that cafe will always say " it's that time of year again". They are nice and we do spend money in the cafe. We won't any more. As she ends up double locking the disabled toilet. Disabled toilets by law are ment to be 24 hour access. And its not the night after we arrive in sherborne. This happens every year we come through. I'm not disrespecting the food and coffee's we get from there, as it is good food. But why lock the disabled toilet. That to us is that they think we will disrespect the toilet. It's bang out of order and it stops others that need to use the disabled. Will never buy...

Regularly choose to grab breakfast here when going into Sherborne. As reviews have stated it’s a small cafe but easily the best breakfast and prices for this area. Personally I cannot understand the review saying the sausages and bacon are “tasteless”, I can only assume that reviewer was suffering from COVID and had no sense of taste as the bacon is always thick sliced and unmissable and the sausages are great, not seasoned/specialty sausages but they are better than many of the other venues I have visited. Breakfast options are great and are very filling, but if your in a rush a hot coffee and an excellent thick-cut bacon sandwich is an awesome choice to set you up...

Arrived at 1005...very busy and so asked to come back at 1045 which I was happy to do.

No information relating to waiting time thus at that point wasn't long.

However I didn't receive my food until 1130.

There were actually guys whom arrived after me that got served either before me or at similar time.

I noted some time after me, people were being told of a long wait.

Staff were friendly and acknowledged my wait and apologised.

Food was good but effectively 1 hour 25 minutes for breakfast isn't ideal thus would have to think about...
