A visita ao interior do Castelo, os State Apartments, pode iniciar-se pela sala onde está a Doll's House, perto do terraço norte, mas há sempre uma fila longa (fiquei na fila cerca de 30 minutos numa sexta-feira). É possível entrar diretamente para os outros quartos: os State Apartments, habitualmente sem fila. A casa de bonecas é uma miniatura de uma mansão à escala 1/12 com todos os detalhes e cada peça foi construida por artesãos importantes da época. Compreensivamente, a casa està protegida a toda a volta por vidro grosso, mas isso prejudica os detalhes que se conseguem observar bem. Toda a visita ao Castelo tem um audioguia e aconselho ouvir a parte da casa das bonecas pois menciona detalhes interessantes que passariam despercebidos. Deviam melhorar a experiência do visitante pois algo tão pequeno não é possível dar a devida honra observando os pormenores. Seria uma boa ideia ter um sistema de lupas que se pudessem direcionar para ver as peças, pois a olho nu e com o vidro, e à distância, perde-se bastante... Hà muita gente sempre a circular e não dá para ver com a calma que eu gostaria...🙁 Não é permitido tirar fotos mas não me apercebi logo disso...

Even though we waited for almost 30 minutes, it definitely worthed. The doll house was built in the 1920s for Queen Mary and is a masterpiece. The level of details is amazing and eye-catching. Some of the objects need regular polishing and maintenance. The only donwside is that you are not allowed to take pictures.

Sono stato a vedere questa casa delle bambole con la mia ragazza in occasione di una giornata a Windsor. Questo bellissimo modellino si trova all'interno del castello cittadino, una delle residenze ufficiali della famiglia reale inglese. Per poter vedere questa casa da vicino bisogna acquistare il biglietto d'ingresso al castello e il mio consiglio è quello di prenotarlo per tempo on-line per non rischiare di fare un viaggio a vuoto. La riproduzione è pazzesca, ogni dettaglio è curato nei minimi particolari. Purtroppo, all'interno della stanza è vietato fare fotografie o video, la sorveglianza è molto severa. Una piccola gemma da scoprire all'interno del castello.

I loved the Queen Mary’s Doll House, pretty small but defo worth the wait, really intricate details and amazing inside. Bit of a que, but worth the visit and it’s extremely interesting to see!
